False advertisement; advertisement states 10.95 for all 3 wick candles with regular price -24.95- 39.95 However, there were no candles on the sale floor with regular price of 39.95 And there were no candles at the 39.95 price available on line either. The colonie store Had 3 wick candle out on the floor in box for 36.95 but per Assistant mgr and another supervisor the corporate directive was to put out the candles for 36.95 (that were boxed and in the store) after sale ended today . I was instructed to call customer service and was given the number - I called while in the store. The customer service person spoke with the supervisor asking her to sell the 36.95 candle for the 10.95 advertised price because they had them on hand in the store, this would honor the advertised price and customer serve rep was told by Colonie Supervisor that they could not do that due to corporate directive! In the future Bath and Body Works should advertise accurately and State $10.95 for a candle up to 26.95 in value if that is all they plan to sell and not falsely advertise they have candles up to 39.95 on sale, current false advertisement practices bring people into the store for something that does not exist. This is unacceptable and in my opinion fraudulent! , also the staff on duty at the Wolf Road colonie New York store were quite...
Read moreI stopped in to quickly look for a little something to go with a birthday gift 🎁 for one of my oldest and dearest friends. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted by a staff member who introduced herself and informed me of the sale item and where to find it. Looked around just a bit before selecting an item in the very organized and well stocked store. I settled on the sale item.... lol When I checked out the cashier asked if anyone assisted me? I was happy to give her my greeters name because she smiled when she greeted me, informed me of the sale and most importantly did not hover. The cashier was nice as well. She asked if I needed a bag! I didn't need a bag except for the fact I was going directly into Macy's when I left there. So instead I asked if I could please get my item wrapped in the tissue paper and she happily obliged. Many may say both were doing what they were hired to do. Which is true! However, how often these days do staff...
Read moreMy experience at this store was very awkward and unprofessional. Upon entering the store I acknowledged an employee with a greeting and that employee did not speak to me. Then that employee had the same audacity to follow me and ask me if I needed assistance with anything as if I was attempting to shoplift.
Upon checking out the cashier gave me a super bright red an pink bad suitable for a woman, even though there were dozens of normal colored brown and blue bags available for her to give me. I had to ask for a bad that wasn't as bright she acted as if she was clueless then another employee changed it. It was a very awkward experience and I don't recommend anyone of color visit this store.
Management should be ahanmed of training such emotionally...
