My experiences with the magfast company, I am a year 2020 preorder Customer, I knew that this was a start up company, and let me repeat, I am a preorder customer, as such, I honestly had no idea how long it would take to get my charging equipment. The sales transaction was intuitive, quick, and very clean, I am very comfortable with their systems and their security measures they have in place, I had an email receipt in a very short period of time, complete with company communication, I was encouraged to not only check their website, but also watch for their updates that they have been putting out for years literally, itās up in the hundreds now. I can see and feel how transparent the company is, every step of their struggles and successes have been communicated to me, as well as, all magfast customers, magfast is shipping product and they are updating the batch information to the customers as it pertains to those groups of customers, I however still have no firm dates as to when my equipment will be here, Iām super excited about my equipment, and my patience will prevail. I am also super impressed on how Magfast pulled back on their production to correct a couple of small modifications required for Appleās mag safe charging interfaces, this is only but an example, they are so willing to get it right so you get the best possible equipment and the longest lasting equipment for use with the products that you use today. I firmly believe, but I also think itās going to be a proven fact, that magfast charging equipment will probably be the highest quality, most productive charging equipment you can buy. I should also mention the fact that Iām also an investor in the company. I wish I wouldāve had the ability to invest the way I planned to, but with the economy and economic changes, I wasnāt able to invest as heavily as I wouldāve liked, but that all went nice and smooth and everything looks very good, very transparent, in short I would say regardless of where the company stands right now, I canāt see how they could possibly run it more professionally, and Iām also impressed with their top tier customer relations team, youāre going to have to look for a while to find one better than This, they get my A+ rating. As always, my best wishes to the company, their employees, and all of the customers involved....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI originally pre-ordered the ProKit in September 2019 and then doubled the order a year later knowing this was a fledgling, crowdfunded company. I cannot comment on the actual product other than to say I am excited to receive my kits in the near future. The company has gone to great lengths to explain and apologize for the delays in both manufacturing and delivery. This has been due in large part to the shortage of semi-conductors caused by COVID and then global issues with the supply chain and shipping. The Customer Service Team, the various members of the design, manufacture and engineer teams, plus the company CEO have all provided frequent email and video updates keeping the customers up-to-date on every phase of the product development. In addition to the pre-order of the product I also invested a small amount in the company. I have every confidence in Magfast and look forward to taking delivery of my kits as well as future products currently in development or design.
Update November 20th, 2022. I have recently (within the last two days) taken delivery of my order for 3 + 1 Lux USB C - C charging cables, ordered in August at their launch by Magfast and Indiegogo. These cables are everything and more promised by the Magfast Company CEO, Seymour Segnit. My original orders for the Pro kit are also en-route, albeit in phases. The first being the Life and Extreme chargers. I anticipate these to be here within two to there weeks. Based on the premium quality of the cables my anticipation for the quality of the chargers has gone through the roof. Magfast is building a solid base for their business by delivering premium products and have a passion for what they are doing. Their primary goal is not aimed at profit but providing the very best quality products they can. This will help provide them with a solid customer base who believe in the company and the products and help to spread the word. Ā Ā Ā Read moreApproximately two weeks ago I posted my first Magfast review. It was basically saying that finally I was expecting delivery of Magfast product. I received the delivery (have to admit it was a welcome confirmation of a long period of doubt). I was very impressed with the packaging (which Magfast has talked about frequently). It would've been paradoxical to put high quality product in shabby packages. The packaging was well thought out and produced. The products (Life, Extreme & Jumper) exude high quality. After reading the start-up info I of course had to try them. It wasn't difficult to figure out but there were so many options and I wanted to test then all. So I did. And to begin I started by fully charging Life & Extreme. (They arrive with 30% charge - Federal Law). It took longer than I expected and I had wished that Wall had been included in the initial kit but I later discovered that the method I chose want the most efficient. Still it wasn't an overly long charging. Both units have maintained change extremely well. But as with most things - not everything went smoothly. I encountered a problem with a mini-cable and reported it. I tried an identical cable from my second kit (intended as a gift) and had the same problem. I was convinced that Magfast had a problem and that the problem was theirs and would derail success with Apple products. I got a quick reply from Magfast to send the cable (a) back to them and they would replace and investigate. As if turns out I never needed to return anything. The 'problems' was mine. It was an intermittent problem with the adapter I was using and also that I wasn't plugging the mini cable into its port firmly. (How embarrassing!). āØāØBottom line =. I am THRILLED with Magfast. The vision, passion, attention to quality, safety, customer support and their perseverance is a welcome thrill. I'm looking forward receiving Wall, Watch & Road. And I'm recycling a box full of stuff I've been struggling...
