I brought my vehicle in for a wheel alignment. while vehicle was in their parking lot , the vehicle wouldn't start back up. We figured out it needed a starter, the cost of a starter ranges from $75.00 to $125.00 plus labor. The labor time according to the dealer /mechanic books can take up to 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. They over charged and took advantage of me on the labor cost and parts to replace starter. I was charged 3 hours of labor @ $120.00 per hour, I am not questioning the hourly labor cost, my issue is that they charged me 3 hours of labor for a job that takes 1 to 1.5 hours in addition they charged $325 for a starter that goes for $75 to $125.00 tops. I had no choice to fix my vehicle, I tried to reason with Bernie but he was unreasonable. He also tried to upsell me on front end work but refused since vehicle was just inspected by NYS DOT and It passed, I also had my mechanic look over his notes and he came back that there were no safety issue and only needed...
