These guys take their craft seriously - and are priced very reasonably. I couldn't be happier.

We used Silva for a built in for our TV. We had a quote from another place. At the advice of my better half, I reached out to Silva for a 2nd quote. Riccardo visited the house, drew up a sketch, and gave me a quote almost half of the original quote. So, we went for it with Silva.

The con: you'll need to be patient. These guys are a small shop and you'll need to wait. We put the order in mid-Oct; our built in was installed 4 months later.

The pros: We have a beautiful built in. I mean, seriously gorgeous!!!!!!! We live in a very old house (circa 1850s) - and it looks like it. Silva replicated the style of the house with the built in. The guys came over at 8:30am one morning - they were there for 8 hours. I thought it looked great at that point, but they pointed out that they wanted to come back to install toe molding to make sure that there were no gaps whatsoever (neither or floors nor our walls are straight, making these jobs especially hard). I also realized that we needed a hole for the outlet. So the next day, they were back for a few more hours to install the toe molding and do the hole and touch up the paint.

I can't recommend these guys highly enough. I am planning to convert a spare bedroom into an office. I was thinking of just getting a desk and calling it a done deal, but given the work they did in our family room, I'm planning on having them back to help me create the office of my dreams.
