ALDI — Local services in Town of Halfmoon

I visited the Clifton Park store 3:30 on Saturday 4/12/25. I asked one of the stocker's if there was hot chocolate mix. The stocker ignored me. I asked the stocker the same question again. The stocker's rude response without looking at me was "no its not hot chocolate season." I walked away and went to the self-checkout. I used the chip reader for my debit card and received an error. Before I could even try the chip card reader again another stocker from 10 feet away rudely said "SWIPE THE CARD!" This store has a history of rude employees. I have experienced rudeness from their employees in past years and took a very long break from shopping at the Clifton Park store. The prices here are amazing and one reason why is that they optimize the time spent by their employees. So instead of having to put shopping carts back, you as the customer do it since the shopping carts require a 25 cent deposit and you probably want that back. You bring your own reusable bags, or you can buy some from Aldi, and you pack your own groceries. It goes a lot faster in line than regular grocery stores and the quality of food is comparable. The only thing I don't get there is cold cuts but everything else is fantastic. What would cost $300 or more in other stores costs about half at Aldi. I also lived in Germany so it's nice to have certain German foods available in the US, e.g. black bread. Overall, I enjoy doing my grocery shopping at Aldi over any other...

Great place for fresh produce at really good prices. Good values on their seasonal items & stuff they get in now &then. Most of the other stuff in the aisles I don't get as I don't like the off-brand stuff as much. I like some of it, like their fit & trim line and I do buy those -also at great prices. Their fresh meat & packaged cheeses are very good too. They seem to be adding more new items all the time. Their checkout people are the fastest of any store. Even when there are lines, they move pretty quickly. I appreciate that they let their checkers sit-so much healthier than making them stand for hours! You want to bring your reusable bags as they don't provide them, tho they have them for sale at very low cost. Good for the environment which I like....
