Good Service is getting harder to find. I ordered online and got a pick up time. I arrived at the restaurant about 10 min after the quoted pick up time. I waited around 12 min as employees seemed to be locating my order. Then a waitstaff person comes from out of the kitchen and informs me that they do not have the ordered entree for one of my meals. She appeared a bit flustered, but was very polite and sympathetic. Why was I not notified long before my arrival, after all this was an online order, so my contact info was available to them. Anyway, I requested a menu and made a selection. 15min later, my three meals come out all packaged to go. The manager, who brought them out, asks if I would like sweet tea, knowing all this has taken way too long. I accept, as my family loves sweet tea and I had not ordered drinks. The waitstaff person returns with a single small sweet tea! The look of disappointment must have been written all over my face. The waitstaff person was very apologetic and polite as she was during our first encounter. But she mentions that she is embarrassed to bring out just the small tea at this point, but they had no large to-go cups. I thanked her, but never mentioned that the proper gesture would have been to just give three complimentary small sweet teas, one for each meal. Upon my arrival home, I find that the meal portions were unusually small for a number of the items ordered. Most disappointing, I found that my order was missing a complete side dish. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Obviously, there are a few online ordering process gaps for effective customer service that need to be closed. Either way, I will give them the chance to redeem themselves, after all, the...
Read moreYou're forced to walk through the gift shop to get to the restaurant making it difficult to get around. On top of store sales cashier's also do restaurant cash out making it confusing until I asked where to go. One awesome thing is I saw a stuffed sloth that I bought for my brother who has 3 already that he loves. There were 6 of us and it was to me very dark inside and seeing my companions faces was difficult. My sister ordered 1 dish of fried pickles and 1 dish of fried mozzarella which barely gave everyone 1 piece to each of us. I ordered the grandmas breakfast and the 3 sausages came out hard and burned so I asked for bacon instead which came out after I had finished everything. The pancakes were great 👍..not IHOP for sure.... Hash browns were like an au gratin which I actually liked. My brother had catfish and it was really good...he found it a bit salty but I didn't when he gave me a small piece since I've never had catfish before either. It's a bit fishier than cod/haddock but wat milder than Salmon. My sister has steak tips and shrimp and she was only able to eat the shrimp 🍤😔. The others I forget what they had but get conversation was flowing pretty good after a mimosa for 3 and a spritzer for 3. The server was so unimpressive I forget her name, barely any interaction with us Spent about $160 for an early dinner/late lunch (3pm arrival) 6 ppl I thought wasn't bad.
After Christmas shopping it was nice to just sit down but their chairs are small and wooden making it hard on my already weary back. Would be nice to have cushions or...
Read moreI haven't been in quite some time and was excited to go. Was in the area and also had a gift card.
Was seated quickly as it was early and no too crowded. I was kind of disappointed they didn't have the outside tables they had the last time I was there.
Waited quite some time for our waitress. She was nice - not sure if new or overwhelmed. Ordered our food and drinks. Was a bit shocked/surprised to see they added a few alcoholic beverages to the menu. A nice touch especially since there were mimosas listed. I did however just order a coffee LOL. I do enjoy their coffee always hot and fresh. My son was with us and got an apple juice. Grand Princess an kiddie mimosa.
I kept the food simple - build your own breakfast - scrambled with cheese, bacon, fried apples and biscuit with sausage gravy. The son just had bacon (he's not a breakfast fan). GP bowl of 'fruity cereal".
Got our drinks right before the food came out. GP was content with her giant bowl of cereal - waitress apologized since she pour it in the wrong bowl but GP was happy so that's all that mattered. No milk containers so she gave her milk in two little cups. My eggs, apples and biscuits were ok, bacon was a bit over cooked and sausage gravy had no flavor at all. It was like flour and water tasting.
I wanted more coffee but I'm guessing the waitress was busy. Just ended up getting the check.
I'm guessing this location has become what I call a hit or miss. May go one time and have excellent service and food. Go another and not so much. This time.was a...
