Had a stock/warehouse guy save me from potentially destroying a tv on my drive home by letting me know that they need to be sitting a certain way to guarantee it will be safe. Now I'm sure I could have gotten away with how I was going to do it, but the other store I went to didn't even bring it up. At this store I'll say I'm lucky the salesperson at the TV desk recommended I buy the TV at the customer service desk because I knew what I wanted (something I'll be doing from here on out on basically anything when possible) then, after essentially saving me 1600$ going down the drain, came in clutch by ordering it to ship to my house. The other store flat out refused and said it couldn't be done. After a few minutes I had paid, they had pulled up my account, confirmed adress and number, and boom. All set. If these guys weren't 45 minutes from home this would be my go to store. Still very well may be worth the drive. I've driven further for good service. With best buy it can be hit and miss, Hamburg gets my vote for best store. I only hope that duder is around next time I need some cool tech or an upgrade. Ps. Best buy you should give him a TV literally for free, because had it not been for him, I'd have gone literally anywhere other than best buy to get one. Sorry I didn't get his name, but I do know his TV just broke. Also get him a chrome cast so he can stream from crunchyroll to a nice...
Read moreI'm torn here as I like thr products, but truly wished the employees knew what they had in stock and communicated better. I was pretty excited about a computer Garret let me know about. He said everything I needed to hear, but then assured me that the Galleria Mall had what I wanted when the Hanburg location was out and told me I could pick up my laptop immediately there so I paid for it at this store. I then drove all the way out to get my laptop, only to find they don't have my order and then tried to sell me a different one. That was kind of frustrating, because I took the time to decide on the one I did purchase. To have someone offer me something different and then tell me one in stock doesn't mean they have it was not only inconvenient but this isn't the first time this has happened! How is it Alaska stores messed up monitors over a year ago and now a laptop in NY?! Something is wrong with best buys ability to navigate their inventory! They need to actually call other stores and ask if they have a product before sending someone in the future. Their system may need an upgrade but these two times I make expensive purchases and this happens is just unfortunately as well as disappointing. With the money the company makes they can take the time to prioritize the customer and not...
Read moreWe went to the store last night (6/2/17) to purchase an s8+ phone outright. We spoke with a very helpful member of staff (I think her name might have been Monica? she had a nose piercing) She helped us for quite a while before telling us unfortunately the color s8+ we wanted was not in stock so we ended up going to the Niagara falls boulevard and having a bad experience with another best buy staff member.
Today (6/3/17) we came back to this store to try order the phone for delivery to the store. Unfortunately we just missed the helpful staff member and we was left to be dealt with by someone who said he was her brother and a blond girl. The level of service they gave us was shocking just downright being negative and saying we could not get what we wanted to buy. He seemed more interested in her than dealing with us and she just wasn't interested.
We ended up leaving the store and trying to purchase the phone on you're website as that was all he could suggest we do to get what we want. We got as far as trying to type in our address when paying before the site started playing up.
I would say I can't wait for the day that stores shut down and I don't have to deal with you're staff members when everything is online but after dealing with you're website I don't think that will...
