Youâre told to park in a fire lane in front of a fire hydrant and blocking traffic while hoping someone doesnât rear end you for curbside pickup. I was not going to park illegally or blocking traffic. Especially while 8 months pregnant with twins risking their lives and mine, so I parked in the closest parking spot and let them know where I was parked for curbside pick up. I waited almost 15 minutes before I called the store to see what was going on with my order. I spoke with Brenda who told me to park at the curb, while explaining that I was not blocking traffic or parking illegally, she hung up. I pulled up to the curb, got my order, and asked to speak with a supervisor. Brenda then asked me âwhy?â as if it mattered to her. I explained again about the fire hydrant, the fire lane, and the safety concerns I had with blocking traffic. She then explained that âpeople donât obey the speed limits all the timeâ as if someone elseâs illegal activity justifies parking in a firelane in front of a fire hydrant... I again told her she needed to get her supervisor as this needs to be escalated. She told me he wouldnât come out (without checking). She then told me sheâs old enough to be my grandmother and this conversation is over before walking away. I called the store beyond frustrated and completely disturbed at the interaction that just occurred and of course Brenda answered. I asked to speak with her supervisor. Jeffrey got on the line and upon explaining the situation he advised me they moved the signs as it was More convenient to his associates. Upon explaining my safety concerns and the fact theyâre asking customers to illegally park he was not phased! I asked to speak with someone above him and was given 1800oldnavy, but Jeffrey wouldnât provide his last name. Upon calling old navy, she took my complaint very seriously as Iâm sure they could be sued if someone were to rear end a customer parked where they were directed! Completely appalled at how this was handled at store level. I drove an hour to do this curbside pick up at 11am, it wasnât until 12pm that it was actually handled. Would avoid this store...
Read moreBetter prices and sizes for me personally. Iâm roughy 235lbs. 55lbs over weight. I still wear a large shirt and size 38 to 40 in waist. Usually $30 to $40 for a pair of jeans or slacks. Shirts $10 to $30. Some clothing is seasonal and ever changing. I have found you get better deals in February/March then you do in summer or around Christmas.
Clothes can be casual or low end (price not quality) work professional. A long time ago I would buy work slacks/shorts here, when I worked Darien Lake or Tops.
My wife however. Oh boy. I hate shopping here with my wife. The womenâs clothes! She may find the right waist size but then itâs a slim, baggy or some other language. I recently got into an argument with my wife at old navy over something called âjeggingsâ I donât know what that is!? âJust pick a pare of pants and lets go!â I go in, I know my sizes, know where to find them and Iâm out. Old navy, I would rather have teeth pulled, or a kidney stone then go shopping for...
Read moreBoth my children enjoy shopping there. You can find some goid deals if you look for them, among they're regularly priced items which can be on the higher side at times. I just had to do a return on a sweater that my daughter wore once and it tore, unusual for their clothing, and even though she had cut a tag that she was not supposed to cut because we had our receipt they at least let us exchange it therefore i was very pleased. Will continue...
