From the moment I step into Panera, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a delightful experience. But it’s the exceptional service, especially from an employee named Katrina, that truly makes each visit memorable. Katrina’s consistent greeting with a cheerful “Hi!” immediately brightens my day. Her smile isn’t just a gesture; it’s a genuine reflection of the friendly and positive vibe that Panera prides itself on.
Katrina’s eagerness to assist, whether it’s helping with menu choices or ensuring a quick and efficient service, shows her dedication and professionalism. Her attentiveness to customer needs and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed is a rarity in customer service today. She remembers regular customers and makes new ones feel like they’re part of the Panera family.
The food, as always, is fresh and delicious. But it’s the staff, led by Katrina’s exemplary service, that sets this Panera apart. It’s not just a place to grab a bite; it’s a warm, welcoming space where you’re guaranteed a smile and top-notch service, thanks to Katrina and the team.
Thank you, Katrina, for making every visit to Panera an absolute pleasure. Your hard work and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed, and it’s employees like you who keep me coming back for more! Keep up the...
Read moreThis used to be a 5-star rating from me, but lately it's been insane with how many times I have had to contact customer service because my order was wrong or a note added with a sandwich order was totally ignored. I work almost 40 minutes away from this location, but it's on my way in to work every day so it's the only location that's at all convenient for me. At this point, with the number of times I've gotten to work only to find out my whole order is wrong so I'm out a lunch or dinner for that day, I'm ready to cancel my membership to the coffee club, and just take my business elsewhere.
EDIT: 10/9/2022 - After working with customer service and given the fact that things have very much improved, I'm readjusting the score to four stars. It's not always perfect, but my order is usually correct and available when I'm told it is ready. I do think Panera Bread has decent food but the prices can be a little high, it gets very busy there and they seem to be interminable short-staffed so there can be a wait time beyond what you might expect for a quick lunch or breakfast, and I'm just not a fan of the McKinley Mall...
Read moreVery surprised how different this location was from a couple years ago when I last visited. You used to walk in and feel like you were in a gourmet atmosphere with fresh coffee in the air and a lovely wall of pastries welcoming you. NOT SO MUCH ANYMORE. It was sort of depressing. Pastry/bread baskets were barren. Not a single person sitting in dining area. Everyone there was only to get takeout. All of the staff definitely seemed underwhelmed being there. So unfortunately it wasn’t until I got home I noticed they failed to include 2 sandwiches I had ordered - basically the whole point of going there to try the new chicken sandwich. I called the store and after holding for 10 minutes and then being disconnected, the manager did call me back and apologized and asked if I wanted store credit or refund. I politely requested a refund while thinking to myself I would rather die than go back to that depressing place again so store credit was of no interest to me. Bottom line is this place is nowhere near where it used to be and I have no interest in making another effort to try the $12...
