First I’d like to say I’m a person with a disability. So when it comes to customer service that’s high on my priority list. I’ve been a diehard loyal customer of Auto Zone. In 3 of the 5 boroughs of the city. Also several of the surrounding counties for close to two decades. Personally a regular at the Haverstraw 9W location for over 5yrs now. in which I find my self only wanting to do business there when a gentlemen by the name of Chris is working. The reason is being is he very knowledgeable and quite resourceful when it comes down to the auto zone products. Helping customers with the process to find resolution for a small problem with your vehicle if in need. Chris is very professional & courteous a great reflection of what Auto Zone image needs to be. Eager to help assist you with the products you purchased to your vehicle. In my opinion if Chris was there every day this location would be worthy of five stars. Unfortunately this location loses stars because of the lack of quality leader ship. The manager Jenny has been quite obnoxious and very condescending in her delivery to customers. This is very unprofessional in my opinion and almost forcing you to go the competition. This was a five star location before Jenny got here. I went to Autozone to see if they could scan it for me to make sure it truly is cat converter problem,...along comes Chris..he mentioned dont change it yet, it might just need a cleaning. Offered me to buy Cataclean to clean emission components. I did as he mentioned instructions. Not only has the engine light turned off, my cars performance is now golden. Thank you brother. AutoZone won't warranty the six-month old battery that has a five-year guarantee because I'm not the original purchaser and despite my asking the specific question, nobody told me this until I pulled the battery and brought it in. For a $170 battery, that's nonsense. Thanks for wasting my time, AutoZone. Your warranty is pretty u$ele$$.
Lucky for me Costco has an Interstate brand battery for $90. And it's Costco, so I'll know the warranty...
