I have never written a review in my life but this is so insane that i have to.
I WANT to believe the owners and workers at this location are only incompetent and making mistakes but in reality they are purposely scamming customers.
I have gone 4 times and paid 4 different prices for the same order. The first three times it seemed weird and after discussing it with another customer, i decided to put a little detective work into the fourth order. after ordering my food, i had the person repeat my order back to me, everything was as i ordered it, when i pulled up to the window and paid, they gave me most of my order and then told me i had to pay more if i wanted the rest of my food, that i didnt give them enough. this would make sense and possible if i paid cash but i paid with a credit card, i have absolutely no control over what they charged when they swiped it.
the owner/manager came over and yelled at me that i had to give them more money and i told them i would like them to repeat my order back to me because it seemed WAY too much. they were quite literally unable to do that. They said they couldnt read my order to me nor show me a printed receipt until after a paid. That is insane. They operate on the honor system? give me your credit card and trust us that we are charging you what ordered?
well guess what, the order was NOT what i ordered... like at all. no wonder they didnt want me to know what was punched into the system or why it cost so much, it flat out wasnt what i ordered. I handed the food back to them and had them read the receipt they finally gave me and match it to the food they handed me, which werent the same at all. the owner/manager took 2 dollars out of his pocket and told me we were even.
I started driving away and decided to look at the receipt and realized that even after their "correction" the order was still messed up so i pulled over into a spot and walked in to show them. they then took all of the food out of the bag and said they were matching it to the receipt. they corrected it again and then i headed out.
This is where it gets wild
Halfway home i had a weird feeling and pulled over to check the bag and make sure they werent still screwing me, well guess what, they SERIOUSLY took some of my food out of the bag and never gave it back to me. So when they were going through my food to match it against the receipt, they swiped some of the food to balance out the favor of giving me what i paid for. They finally gave me me order in full and sent me on my way. I went on the site and added up my order and added up my order plus tax, after they 2 dollars the owner/manager gave me out of his pocket i still paid 12% over what the order should have been.
I love popeyes but this is seriously an issue, based on NUMEROUS reviews of experiences almost identical to mine, this isnt an accident, they are purposely changing orders to overcharge and hoping a small enough portion of people will notice. If reviews like the ones im seeing and ones just like mine keep popping up, it will hurt the popeyes brand as a whole. Steer clear...

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a 2-piece dark meat chicken meal with fries, asking for water instead of soda. My order number was #15. I knew I had to pay for the meal regardless of whether I chose water or soda. At the pickup window, I received my order but didn't get a receipt. After eating, I checked my credit card statement and noticed I was charged $14.73. It was clear I was overcharged for a larger size I didn't order and a bottle of water I never requested. I returned to the drive-thru to complain, but the manager was dishonest. He claimed they only provide receipts if customers ask for them, which doesn't make sense since customers are entitled to a receipt and the rewards that come with it. It seems I wasn't given a receipt because I was overcharged. I also questioned why my order was upsized without my consent. The manager said he did it because the small size is "too small." He also claimed he charged me for a bottle of water because they don't offer free cups of water. I explained that I was willing to pay for the meal with soda but wanted water instead, and he falsely claimed they couldn't do that. This is clear lie as all fountain soda systems have a water tab. It's clear I was overcharged and upsized without my permission. After reading Google and Facebook reviews, it seems this establishment regularly cheats...
Read moreFirst let me be clear, I’m not one of those people that leaves reviews for restaurants literally ever. Going through the drive through at this place was one of the worst experiences of my life. The staff here has absolutely no idea what they’re doing, it’s literally like you’re dealing with a group of kindergarteners when you interact with them. The drive through was about a 20 minute wait just for them to get my order wrong, over charge me, and force me to get out of my car to go inside. When I did go inside, the staff started fighting with each other and STILL managed to not understand that they messed up my order (it was a very basic order btw they’re just incompetent).
Also, this isn’t cheap whatsoever. A chicken sandwich, some boneless wings, and a desert was $45.
Please do yourself a favor and get literally any other fast food place around...
