I hate leaving bad reviews especially for a fundraising cause but a few of the staff had bad attitudes and the fireworks we're just plain. I have seen better at smaller venues who never throw fireworks so this was disappointing to say the least. As to the rude staff here is that story. We walk in, I in a cane, my daughter recovering from illness. She really wanted to get out of the house but was still weak. We thought great place. Out of a group of 10 we brought 2 chairs with us because of our conditions. The chief told us no chairs. ok I said but the 2 young ladies before us just went in with chairs can you make an exception my daughter is recovering and I was in an accident. No, we can't make an exception sorry. Okay we left the chairs without an issue but highly disappointed and he never told the ladies to check the chairs in. Then a staff member came to a lady on the feild who was in her wheel chair and told her to please move herself by the bleechers because she could block people once it starts filling up. My whole family was on the floor near the lady and it was not that serious. We were listening to music and going to watch the fireworks in the Sky. Seriously? We will...

The town coordinated a spectacular and entertaining fourth of July celebration. The fireworks were awesome, fortunately for me, I had a great view, but it seemed to me that wherever you were sitting or standing, you were likely to have just as good a view as any.

Great athletic multi sport fields. For use by valley stream residents. Well maintained. Permit may be required for organized groups to practice. Park is used for various community events- 4th of July fireworks extravaganza is a great display of fireworks and community. It is always fun to watch!
