PND Professional Nail Design — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Okay 1 Star because you guys are putting in high risks your costumers and I did feel on risk here. The place has a high Review and that's the reason why I decided to go to this place. This was my second time but I must sadly say that although they have done an excellent job with the design I have requested there is something more important than my nails and that is my health and safety.

1. First I must start by saying that the instruments to cut the cuticle, push the cuticle of the nail, etc. must be sterilized and you cannot use them with different clients repeatedly, what happens if your previous client has a nurse such as hepatitis B for example and you cut and then you use that same instrument with another client and contaminate them.

2. second the burs with which you polish and scrape the UV Gel must also be sterilized, you must have a cold sterilization container to have your instruments.

3. The lamps and transparent partitions that are on the tables are disgustingly dirty, if they don't take the time to clean and disinfect something that is on your face, I highly doubt they would do it with the instruments they use with clients (in fact they didn't because They did not clean and sterilize the instruments with me) You as an establishment should knew it and know all these things because you are supposed to have a certificate and to obtain a biosafety certificate you must attend a course that they told you...

Nails are always on point when coming here. I won't lie I've only been here 4 times due to them being booked most times, but my 1st visit i was scared since i just had my nails done the day before at a different location and not only did i spend 150 but I was not happy with the design or the shape of my nails. I am a creature of habit, and having to look for another nail salon was making me stress out let alone reading reviews and looking at pictures before wasting my time elsewhere to end up with the same result. Anyway, I called in to pnd the following day and told them about my experience. They were empathetic and scheduled me right away to come in and let me just say what a delight it was to walk in and get sat down without waiting. They actually shaped my nails as requested, and the nail technician recommended a beautiful design and boy was i a happy camper. For the money you pay, every experience coming here should be worth it. I usually come here and my nails are done well. I come here because the techs, the atmosphere and the cleanliness is great. This time not sure what happened but the blame was on the nail polish not being good. Not sure if it was the new technician or the nail polish. Another technician, who knew what I chose ahead of time, pointed out that number line of polish is no good after my nails were done. She knew all along and she let the new tech use it on my nails. I did ask the tech about the polish because I noticed it wasn’t polishing right from the start. The right thing to do was to do it over because I am paying money for a service AND mind you I am choosing to pay a higher price to come to this establishment to do my nails. They did not want to redo it. The guy at the counter didn’t seem to care as long as he got my money. Debating if I should return or look for a cheaper place because I feel a insulted...
