If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would!!! I ordered from this dinner yesterday and carried it out. I ordered matzoh ball soup grilled cheese sandwich and 2 milkshakes. The soup was ice cold and was super bitter and tatsted like it was sitting out for days. The grilled cheese sandwich was burnt and the 2 milkshakes were disgusting the waiter spilled it when he was putting it in the cups and didn’t even clean it up! When I got home there was stale milk around both cups. My sister and I both eat this and honestly if we didn’t spend $60.00 I would of threw it all out. The milkshakes tasted as if it was only made with milk and it definitely tatsted that the milk was expired. Today my sister and I woke up and we have been in the bathroom none stop we both had to call out of work and are pretty sure that we have food poisoning or some type of stomach virus from this disgusting food. So we threw the rest of the food out and $60.00 dollars plus a whole pay day at work down the drain!!!!! We just called Lynbrook eats to notify them and spoke with the manager Sparrow and he was arguing with us that no body complained about the matzoh ball soup and that he basically didn’t care and there was nothing he can do !! SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE I asked to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner as well . He had no compassion about what happened to us and didn’t care so this is why i am writing everything that happened!!! SO BEFORE YOU WASTE A BUNCH OF MONEY MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS and realize that they don’t care about there customers shame on them. Would DEFINITELY NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN OR...

Food good. Small place. Friendly wait staff. But took forever to get our skillet breakfasts. If you go on a Sunday, go after 1 pm when the church crowds have dwindled.

Update: reduced to three stars. Waitstaff has always been courteous, but we just had another Sunday morning experience of waiting at least 20 minutes for egg breakfasts. And it wasn't as crowded this Sunday as it was last time.

The prior week we went in for dinner on Saturday at about 5:30. Not busy. Ordered a turkey dinner. Came with soup or salad, mashed potatoes and ROASTED vegetables. Half of my mashed potatoes were COLD as in fresh out of the refrigerator. You read that right: half the mashed potatoes. How do you manage that? And it was served without the vegetables. When I spoke to the waiter, he told me it didn't come with vegetables!!! He had to check the menu! Then he brought over steamed vegetables - like something from Birds Eye that you would nuke in your microwave. The only good thing about that meal was the company and the loaf of sourdough bread they brought over.

Don't advertise roasted veggies if you aren't roasting the veggies. And don't indicate that maple syrup is included in the price of the pancakes when you actually have to charge extra because of the price of maple syrup. That was a mistake I avoided making because I took the time to double-check with the waiter before I ordered said pancakes.

I'm sorry to say it, because they are a small business and a Lynbrook staple, but I'm done with this...

I went here with my pregnant wife, 2.5 year old son and my grandma. I wish there was a place like this where I lived - we were visiting my grandmother who lives in lynbrook. Food was exceptional - elevated diner food for sure - and being from NJ, I know and love diner food. This is as good as it gets. But, I eat out a lot - and I rarely write reviews - what truly makes me want to write this review was how friendly the staff was. They were probably the nicest people to ever work at a restaurant. Our waitress felt so familiar and kind and warm. She adored my son and she made jokes and comforting remarks to my wife and I about our forthcoming baby. The person who I think was the owner was equally as nice and warm. It's so rare to find that these days - I actually think this "homey" feel is a blast from the past and something that is lacking in most places. This is not a flashy, bougie place trying to be something it's not - it's just what a restaurant should be. Good food at reasonable prices with...

Now that the Lynbrook Diner has closed, this is one of the better spots to get Diner food in Lynbrook. I had a Chicken Teriyaki dish here and it wasn’t great so I won’t recommend that but traditional diner food is good. Generally, the food is always pretty consisent and although it’s relatively small, the decor is very homey and town like. It’s kept very clean too! You have to try their milkshakes. I recommend to split them with someone because they are big and filling. Prices are typical here for diner food.

Me and the fam had a good dinner there, we ordered a steak quesadilla, hot chocolate, and some chicken dish. They have pretty large portion size perfect for splitting, (couldn’t eat it all so we had to bring it home lol) Oh also there is a very hospitable waitress there, she cooked the food! Make sure to give her a tip. Would recommend and I’m gonna be coming here again!

Always pleasant experience at Lynbrook Eats, the staff are always on point, attentive and friendly. The food is quality and good sized portions. My father enjoys the coffee and my brother is a big burger fan. We visit for breakfast and get there for lunch when we can. Krystal is always extremely pleasant and patient with my elderly father.
