First, let me say I have been to several indoor play places on Long Island, the bigger ones, smaller ones, and the top rated ones as well. However, the Little Lotus is the answer to what we parents and children needed! Especially with prices that are fair and competitive with all the other “well known” spots.

The space is unlike any other indoor play place I’ve been too, and not only because it’s part play space and part yoga studio…it is a sensory child’s dream. Jessica has designed her cozy and unique space to have several opportunities for dramatic play beyond the ordinary kitchen and block building- my son and his friends especially loved the immersive fabric “campfire” spot and the soothing lights in Zen Den. Even the ball pit lights up too, which was something really new and exciting for the kids!

Aside from the originality of the space, the owner Jessica made party planning a breeze. I really liked how she listened to what I envisioned for my sons birthday and made helpful suggestions on what package would be best for our party needs. She is so sweet and kind and made herself completely available to me by answering all of my texts and phone calls quickly.

I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience with the children’s pop-up classes at Salon Modus and even more excited about the upcoming opening of the new studio Little Lotus! These classes have been a fantastic addition to our routine, offering a unique blend of creativity, learning, and fun.

From the very first session, it was evident that these pop-up classes are thoughtfully designed to engage and inspire young minds. The themes of each class are imaginative and diverse, ensuring that there is always something new and exciting for the children to look forward to. Whether it's a yoga class, art workshop, a science experiment, or a storytelling adventure, every class is a new journey.

The instructor is exceptional—warm, enthusiastic, and highly skilled at connecting with the children. She creates a nurturing and stimulating environment where kids feel comfortable to express themselves and explore their interests. Her passion for teaching and her dedication to each child's experience truly shine through in every session.

As much as we’ve enjoyed the pop-up classes, I cannot contain my excitement for the opening of the new studio. Having a dedicated space for these incredible activities will undoubtedly elevate the experience even further. I am confident that the studio will become a beloved community hub where children can explore, learn, and grow in a consistent and inspiring...

I recently took my 5-year-old son to a pop-up kids' yoga class hosted by Jess, and it was a great experience for both of us. The class was held in a spacious, brightly decorated establishment that immediately caught my son's attention. The atmosphere was relaxed yet energizing, perfect for engaging young children.

The instructor, Jess, was fantastic at connecting with the kids. She used storytelling and playful activities to introduce basic yoga poses, making it easy for even the youngest participants to follow along. My son particularly loved pretending to be animals during the poses—it was both fun and educational.

The class was well-paced, with a good mix of movement and moments for calming breaths and relaxation. I was impressed by how Jess managed to hold the attention of a group of lively energetic children while still imparting the principles of mindfulness and yoga. Safety was clearly a priority, with mats provided and careful guidance given throughout the session. Jess also ensured that parents were welcome to stay and observe, which was reassuring.

Overall, the pop-up kids' yoga class exceeded my expectations. It was a wonderful introduction to yoga for my son, and he's been practicing the poses at home ever since. I would highly recommend and can’t wait for my son to attend more classes at The Little Lotus once they open their brand new location in Lynbrook....
