
I have been going to Spellbound Salon since they opened and have always had a great experience until yesterday and it had nothing to do with the salon or anyone who works there. Two people came into the salon, a woman & a man the woman walked in and was immediately yelling at the gentleman at the desk who then got the manager to go speak to them as soon as the manager walked over to her the woman was just yelling at her, the manager calmly told her to lower her voice but then the man started to get involved and was yelling as well. Apparently, the woman was not happy with a service that was previously done but the way these two people acted was OUTRAGEOUS who walks into a business screaming at people demanding things. They were asked to leave several times by the manager, and the owner for their disgusting behavior. The man was making threats to shut the business down claiming the salon employees were scammers. Unfortunately, the police had to be called because these two were fiercely disruptive, with her yelling, him videoing on his phone yelling and videoing minor children I might add. I tried earlier today to write a review and to my surprise the name of the salon was changed and all the information was different. Just came on here now and it seems Iâm able to leave a review now and low & behold I see a few reviewâs posted clearly by these two individuals bashing the salon. One by the woman just today coincidence?? I think not, I think we all just figured out who the real scammers are here. Perhaps maybe you donât realize hacking into a computer business account is a felony in New York! And THE NERVE!!! to say they were bullied and the employees were racist to them!! There was not one racist word said throughout that entire situation. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to hurt a business with such lies! I hope the owner sues you for Slander. I wrote a month later because I look at my hair everyday after being colored and I say how unhappy I am still with the work being done to it. If I took the extra step right now to take a picture and share it to the public to see the result you'd say the same thing.
FYI I gave her a nice tip for the hard work she did but doesn't mean she did a good job especially she was moody after I had asked her to fix it for me so yes I did have a change of heart after the 2nd job being done.
No worries, I was never looking to have you guys fix my hair again before you guys make it worse. So I don't really care for that two week mark.
Instead of justifying the reasons to why your customers are unhappy publicly, you should be trying to figure out what went wrong as a business.
More of a reason why people SHOULD NOT GO TO YOUR SALON.

I guess I just got the bad luck of a hair stylist that worked with me. Extremely unhappy with her coloring my hair. I asked for balayage but does just highlights so I just told her to add more color on the bottom so she ombres it, but you can tell she was annoyed so she didn't even really put the effort to do my hair. I wasn't even mad asking her or anything, I was patient the whole time. I didn't wanna go back and have her fix it bc she probably would just make it worst. my hair is extremely choppy.. light, lighter in the middle to darkest at the bottom? All my friends say it's a bad job.

   Read moreI have received the worst service of my life. Maria is downright rude and RACIST. She botched my haircut. When i arrived I wasnât welcomed by any of the members. And i was told there would be additional $15. I sat down and when the stylist came I explained exactly what i wanted a haircut and a style. She started with just the style and when I corrected she said oh I couldnât understand you. I corrected her twice before she proceeded with haircut. She cut it shorter than I asked her to. She didnât even ask me how I wanted it styled and did curls anyway. While styling she snatched my hair few times. I asked her to be careful couple of times still she kept going rough and snatched my hair. After the style my hair wasnât matching on both sides so I asked her politely to correct them and she refused and said thatâs how my hair is so she canât do anything. When i thanked her for horrible job she said âokay miss grouponâ She insulted me straight for using Groupon even when i was paying her extra $15 for having long hair. I do not have long hair and I still agreed to pay that.
If youâre going to insult customers for using Groupon then maybe you should stop offering it.
