TCBY — Local services in Town of Hempstead

The boy who works Tuesdays is very rude and unsanitary. He claimed to be the manager. The place is unsanitary, as the manager did not wash his hands or put on gloves before serving the tasters of the yogurt flavors.

I called today to discuss this situation with management. The boy picked up and spoke very rudely/attacking me again.

Yesterday, I asked to handle the taster cups myself, he refused to let me. I asked him to wear gloves, he refused and mouthed off to me. I hesitantly approved him doing it for me without gloves, and then he did not want to anymore and refused to serve me at all.

Not only will I not return to this awful location where the service and health standards are entirety unacceptable, I will be reporting them to the DOH.

I recently visited TCBY and was super disappointed. First off, the place was a mess. There were spills everywhere, and it looked like no one had bothered to clean up in hours. The yogurt machines were malfunctioning, and half of them were out of order. The flavors that were available tasted artificial and overly sweet.

The toppings bar was another disaster. Many of the bins were empty, and the ones that had toppings looked like they had been sitting out for way too long. The fruit was mushy, and the candies were stale.

To top it all off, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They seemed annoyed by any questions and were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping customers.

Visited the location the other day with my wife. We were greeted and asked if we needed any help. My wife took her time to decide and looked at all the flavors and toppings. We got a vanilla and chocolate and she loaded it up with toppings. She said it was the best and thoroughly enjoyed it. We look forward to returning before the Summer is over! Great addition...
