I have been a patron and customer here for over 10 years. The staff are great to work with, and the majority of the space is lined with tables for gaming. They coordinate and run tournaments and pick-up games for the most popular CCGs/TCGs.
If you play Magic: The Gathering in particular, they offer a variety of tournament and playing formats, and either have in stock or can track down just about any card or accessory you could want. The players tend to be more of a competitive caliber, but are also very knowledgeable and are helpful to new players.
I don't know much about comics, however I see people come in constantly to pick up their scheduled, personalized orders. They have racks of all types of comics and graphic novels. They also have a selection of other board games, card games, and some memorabilia and collectors items.
The owner himself is very friendly and accomodating, and if he is unable to answer your questions or acquire something, he will refer to his extremely knowledgeable and resourceful staff to the best of their abilities...

When I arrived with a box in hand and the list on the date and time that we discussed, I was stared at like I had 8 heads and was told loudly "I'm not buying anything this week." I never understand how businesses can be so rude. I'm semi new to the area and was looking for a comic store to be able to take my kids to, since they're starting to get into super heroes, etc., but after this experience I won't be stepping foot in Comic Book Depot (or suggesting it to friends...
Read moreI went there 1 day with my see what they were all about.Because the reviews said that they're very good and explain what kids how to play the game booking mark. But the person that was there had, I showed no interest of helping us or even to be curious, to see if we needed any assistance only there was walk back-and-forth, I could understand that he was opening the store that you think it would take a moment just to check on people that are standing there to see if they needed any help, which he did, which is sad. Also, because I'm from the neighborhood and I live in a neighborhood before most minorities moved here. It's sad to see how people move into a neighborhood and make it go...
