I went with my family for a summer ice cream treat and I was floored at the selection, the friendliness of the entire staff, the cleanliness of the store and also how amazing the ice cream tasted! I had a brownie bowl & i was amazed. You definitely get your monies worth in Scoops & Cones. The portions are reasonably priced, not like your typical chain restaurant where you can’t quite tell how youre still hungry after spending $50. So in Bellmore we have a lot of ice cream places to choose from. Some being chains and more commercial places. This is one of 2 local mom and pop places. The ice cream is good with lots if different options. My only thing I would do to try and attract more people would be to develop some of those crazy shakes and Sunday. Stopped in here tonight with my wife and 2 boys. It's local to us so we put the boys in the wagon and went for a walk. Great variety of different flavored ice cream I had never heard of. The owner was there and he let me sample pretty much every flavor they had. Each was more delicious than the last.
