Food Plaza Supermarket — Local services in Town of Huntington

The hot food needs to have a drive thru, its that amazing!! The crab stuffed fish is SOOO good! My picky 11 yr. old even loves their food. The chef has a gift to throw down, in the kitchen! Then, he tops it all off with his A+ spectacular personality! I can't hear enough of the love for Huntington Food Plaza from chefs shopping on the regular, the people in Huntington & Huntington Station giving this grocery store 5 star compliments, from every income bracket. The produce is SO fresh & NO ONE have these prices! I hear people rave about the cleanliness & how they love the prices. Also, the manager/owner is SO sweet! He has the best smile & appreciates all his customers. And, I never had an issue with any of the cashiers. Everyone is cooperative. I am a customer there & pleased. My only negative I had with them was some fat free muffins from the bakery area, that were molded. I was shocked to see that & I brought them back. I am an ice cream pheen, but I never buy my ice cream there because its...

Very disappointed with my breakfast sandwiches this morning. Food Plaza is my usual go-to for egg sandwiches. I don't know what happened, but this is the second time in a row that my sandwich ended up in the garbage. I ordered 3 sandwiches, 1) bacon, over easy eggs , and cheese on a roll. 2) bacon, fried eggs, and cheese on a roll. 3) scrambled eggs with cheese on a roll . All 3 sandwiches were on toasted, semi burnt rolls, and they all had very well done, burnt bacon on them. I didn't ask for toasted rolls or well done bacon. The over easy eggs were not over easy. They weren't even over medium. That sandwich went in the garbage. The scrambled eggs with cheese that had bacon that wasn't ordered on it went in the garbage as well. That sandwich was for a vegetarian who couldn't bring herself to eat it even after taking the bacon off of it. I'll be going elsewhere...

I've always had a great experience here and appreciate supporting this small business. Their produce section is always fresh and fully stocked, including a fantastic selection of poultry and essentials like yucca and Dominican avocados. The staff, especially the cashiers, are always friendly. It's a supermarket with a diverse selection, including a delicious and affordable hot food section, fresh fish, and a wide range of produce, making it a convenient one-stop shop for groceries. The location is easily accessible with plenty of parking. They also offer a variety of ingredients from different cultures and are always willing to help you find what you need.
