Atmosphere: I went for dinner on a Sunday night with 2 others. I had made a reservation and the table we were brought to was in the main dining room. The location of the table was much too close to a large party with children, a table of 4, and an empty table next to us. One of the 4 chairs was removed from our table due to not having enough room being so close to the large party with children & their strollers. I requested another table and was offered one on the bar side of the restaurant. The couple at the table next to us hearing us discussing the previous table we moved from agreed expressed the same opinion and appeared to have moved from that side as well. The noise level in the bar seating was loud due to the speakers being directly above the table we were seated at. Two of the knives we were provided were dirty. Food: The spinach artichoke dip itself was very good. It is served with salsa and sour cream which I felt was weird as that doesn't exactly go with the dip. For $18 i would expect just a larger portion of dip hold the salsa and sour cream. One of my party members ordered the French Dip. This is a $28 sandwich. It arrived with no aioli and was dry. The meat was overcooked. It was sent back and confirmed it did not have the aioli, a new one was made and brought to us. By the time the new one arrived the other members of the table had finished eating. The new sandwich was significantly better than the original. Bryant burger and Black Label Burger: not cheap burgers $28 and $22. The black label was more towards the medium/medium well than medium rare. The Bryant burger was more medium than medium rare. Both burger buns were falling apart/crumbly possibly on the "older" side if they had arrived fresh that day. Did not send these back, however was not impressed for that price. Service: The service was lacking in attention and communication. One of the drinks that was ordered was forgotten about. One of my part members wanted a second drink part way through our stay, however by the time our server returned we were pretty far through our meal. The waiter didn't check up often on how the food was and was often at the point of service station or talking with another table by us. At the end of the meal we told the server we would not like to look at dessert menus but got them anyway. After asking for the check we were then informed the manager was comping us dessert after we had told our waiter we did not want dessert. The French dip was still on our bill but then taken off after we expressed frustration over our experience. Our experience at The Bryant was very much a let down and uncomfortable enough where I felt it necessary to write lengthy review. First time and probably last time going for me, the others I was with have been there 4-5 times previously with positive...
Read moreI won't say I hated the place, but it won't be a place I'll be returning to. Just moved to the area and noticed this place ALWAYS being busy driving by. Decided to do a date night on a Saturday night. Had no idea about the reservations. Even if we did make them, we would have to wait. Anyways, came in about 745pm and its PACKED like a can of sardines! There was ample amount of parking, but it was a stretch to find a spot. We thought we would sit at the bar, but we get inside and you could barely see anything because of the amount of people just standing. Not sure what was going on. They were all standing near the bar. It was so many people, there were people sitting at their table trying to have their meal and they were being bumped. People standing were literally standing over their table. It wasnt like that all over the restuarant, but more toward the bar area. So we make it to the host and was told there was an hour wait. We were hungry so decided to stay. Gentlemen asked for my dates number and told him he'll text him when the table was available. No problem. We step outside to wait in the car since I told him I felt like I was in the way. There was a coat rack by the entrance. So we waited and when the time reached an hour wait, we came back in and approached the gentleman before who had told us the wait time. This man...... asked my date "what's your name?" As if he was looking on a list, Mind you, he didn't ask previously for the name, just asked for the number to text. No problem. He told us he'll be having about 6 tables open in about 10 minutes. Luckily for us it didn't even take that long. We were seated at a table which was chair to chair with the surrounding tables, we could touch elbows with the people seating around us. Anywho, waiter came and took out order right away. Appetizer we got the friend calamari, which was really good. Also got the red sangria and a coconut martini. They were okay. My date ordered bone in rib eye I ordered the special of the day which was prime rib and sides. So..... the food was okay, nothing to ooo and awe about. I got the brownie with vanilla ice cream dessert which was good. Get home, all the food we ate came right back up. We both decided we won't be returning. It seems like a great meet up spot for everyone else,...
Read moreWent to this place today for my Birthday, it was my first time and I've read many good reviews about this place. I read some bad ones but I decided to go anyways because the food looked good and it looked like it had a nice vibe. To my surpise, this place was underwhelming. I order this sandwhich, they never asked me how cooked I wanted the meat, so I assumed it was going to come fully cooked. The plate that I received looked nice but when I took a bite and looked at the meat it was raw. I kindly asked the waiter if I could get the meat cooked a little more because I don't want to be at risk for any type of food infection. Not only was my server rude (Fernando) and inconsiderate but he was quick to say that I gave him an attitude (ironic for him to say that). How is asking nicely to re-cook my food giving an attitude?!? I told him I wasn't going to pay for this plate because is way undercooked and I'm not going to eat it. Instead of trying to be understanding he just escalated the whole situation which was overwhelming for me and I started to panic, luckly I had my friend right by side. I asked if I could speak to the manager and he never responded and left. A man walked by and asked if we were okay and I just said "yes" because I needed to breathe a little. I called the waiter again to tell him to kindly remove the sandwhich from my bill because, once again, I'm not going to eat raw meat and he said that I should've told the manager. Apparently the manager was the man that asked if I was okay, but how was I supposed to know that? The waiter didn't even want to properly communicate with me and expected me know everyone who worked there. At the end, my friend had to talk because I was at the point of crying once again. Luckily the manager removed the sandwhich, but never have I experienced such a rude and unprofessional situation at a resturant. They need to either re-teach the waiter how to properly communicate with the guest or replace him. I regret not listening to the negative reviews...
