I wish it were possible to give no stars! I applied for a sweet little kitten that I fell in love with and brought my children to see her. Give five references who all gave rave reviews, and then after all the sudden and done, they tried to strong arm me into taking an adult cat along with the kitten we were adopting. The kitten did not have any contingencies such as needing to be adopted with another cat until we expressed that we wanted her and went through the whole process. Diane then told me that we must take another cat or we cannot have the kitten that we fell in love with. She has been nothing but nasty even to the references I provided. We are a family of animal, loving people who own dogs, cats, fish, horses, etc. any pad that we adopt would be more than loved, they would be our family! We lost our beautiful cat whom we adopted from Little shelter, after 16 years and this kitten was the one that we felt we wanted to add to our family. Diane has been nothing but a controlling person who just wants the last say. Not nice at all! Read moreNorthport Cat Rescue worked with me recently to help trap a female cat and her four kittens from my apartment’s backyard. With their professional assistance, we were able to TNR the feral mama, and all four kittens are now being expertly fostered through NCRA’s expansive community, with the hopes of being adopted out. I cannot recommend this program enough. Their professionalism and knowledge made what could have been a stressful situation easy. They clearly care very deeply about saving and improving the lives of the feline population and also of their owners - not only within Northport, but across Long Island. And, having met a number of their beautiful cats and kittens available for adoption, I would not only gladly tell anyone to adopt from them, but I plan to adopt from NCRA myself when my situation allows it. They have a life-long...
