BUYERS BEWARE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND THE GLASSES THEY USE ARE VERY CHEAP! First off let me explain that I am the type of person that only changes phones when they are so outdated that I have no choice but get a new one, I had this galaxy for years and never dropped and kept it on a otter box case, sadly one day I sat on the phone and obviously the screen cracked very slightly, I went to this place and they told me that its a good phone and not to get a new one but fix this one. They didn't want to negotiate the price, the glass they use to fix my screen was so cheap that little by little start cracking on the corners without even being dropped, they screwed the phone so tight that the phone start acting weird and overheated all the time. I went to ask them what was going on with the phone and why the glass started to crack on every corner little by little and all they did was to take no responsibilities on their product and service, what they did instead was to try to be smart business people and wanted to charge me full price again to get the screen fixed with the non-written promise that the screen wont crack. Obviously I am upset that I wasted $100 to get a very poor product and a very lousy service. No way I'm coming back to this place. My suggestion to you is to read all the other reviews and wonder why this store has so many negative reviews,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off I would just like to recommend going here to iFixScreens in central islip if anyone is looking to get their phone screen fixed and doesnāt want to spend a long time waiting, Im pretty sure the screen was replaced in less than the time they estimated it would take (20-25 mins). The replacement is warranted and excellent quality. Today was my second visit to this store, and just like last time I was met with fast service and courteous, caring employees, who genuinely made me feel as if they were there to help. I donāt have children but my niece is on my phone plan and always has a newer iPhone than myself, however, and Iām sure other 15-year-olds arenāt as careful with their phones, she cracked her screen even with the screen protector on for the second time with a brand new phone. Being the good aunt that I am I didnāt ask her mom for money and did not expect a discount at the store, but the employees at the store were more than generous by giving me a discount today. And no, Iām not saying to go here because they give discounts to everyone Iām just saying this because that is the type of people that they are it was very nice of them and I appreciate it a lot. I just wanted to thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in with a Verizon Certified Pre-Owned Samsung Galaxy S4. The screen had a hairline crack under the glass. I bought this phone almost 4 years ago from Verizon for $189 and kept it in pristine condition. My bad luck, I switched cases and dropped it on the pavement. The damage could have been a lot worse but still. Hairline fracture. The phone still works just fine thankfully. The LCD is ok. I have it in a much safer case now. But anyway, I walk in and he wanted to charge me $150! I'm a tech girl... That price might have worked in 2013 buddy. I can go on ebay and buy the same pre-owned phone for $160. And just run my Ultimate Backup app for a few hours and have everything put back where it was like nothing happened. Now if I came in with a S7-S9 that would be a different story. I could justify spending $150-$300 on a screen replacement if I didn't have insurance or a warranty. But to charge to fix a screen for the same cost of the phone itself is ridiculous. Not this girl. Not today. I'll just save my money and take that $150 and put it towards a better phone. It's...
