Good evening, Last Sunday September 27th, mi wife and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and we invited another couple to join us in the celebration. I always said good things about the service and the food because this was not our first time at this place but it was for our friends. What it was supposed to be a nice evening of good food and refreshing sangria turned into a display of disrespect and rudeness from the hostess, a Hispanic employee, clear skin and approximately 1.55, height. Since we arrive to the place around 4:00pm, we went inside and we approached this gentleman, and asked him for a table for four people, he immediately gave us an attitude like he doesn't care or I'm not interested, I'm busy etc. my friend asked him how long was the wait and, again, with the same attitude, he said 1 hour, we asked him again to make sure and because he told him that this is not the only place in the area and we can go to another one if the the wait was really one hour, and responded yes, there are more restaurants in the area, you can go to another one. We asked for the Manager so we can let him know the way his employee was treating us, and he and another employee said that there was no Manager at the restaurant; we asked him how come they are operating without a Manager. the other employee said... I can be a Manager, what can I do for you, we asked him again, are you the Manager? no but what can I do for you. after that incident, we decided to leave and have dinner in another place. I am aware that everybody have good days and bad days, but the customers don't have anything to do with the private situation of the employees, and in the case of the hostess, this person is the representative of the restaurant, the welcome person, the image of the place and that attitude doesn't help the business at all. As I mentioned at the beginning, I always said good things about this restaurant but after that experience, I can't recommend Tango...

Read moreThis is very sad for me to have to write this review. I am a waitress for many years and I work for a very popular Italian restaurant locally. My experience at Tango last night was awful. My husband and I felt very discriminated against. It's a predominantly spanish restaurant but that shouldn't matter if you are a public place. We were barely greeted at the door by the girl behind the bar. We were shown to our table and I asked to have the booth right next to it which shouldn't have been a big deal. They set it up for us and we sat. Mind you the restaurant was not that busy and they were fully staffed. We sat there with empty glasses and staff walking around and not one would come over to greet us. One waitress finally walked over after I stared her down and she started speaking Spanish. I looked at her and said I don't speak Spanish. She walked away. Another couple sat down right next to us and were waited on immediately. After at least 10 minutes a waitress came over who spoke English and asked if we have been served. I said no we've been sitting here waiting. She wasn't the best service either. It was effort to wait on us. I'm not stupid and I know we were treated poorly for no reason. I won't go back there. The food was good but that was all. It's a shame because I'd never treat customers of a different race...
