So I called an order in and it went as so… General Tso chicken with PFR with no vegetables, Chicken wings cut up & Singapore Mei Fun (this usually comes house special with all meat) I expressed I just want shrimp and medium spicy (curry). I called back to add green beans but the second lady repeats my order and says Chow Mei Fun (House Special) I correct her saying “No just shrimp and added egg” I pick up and it’s Shrimp Chow Mei Fun with NO SPICES (Singapore) I get home and discover this and call! The second lady is telling me what when I corrected her I changed the order! The First Lady confirms and says I said Medium Spicy. They tell me to walk back in the rain for the Change! This is exactly what I did! Some guy comes to the front screaming at me saying he made three different orders! I talk calmly expressing you made three different orders bec the two individuals got it wrong! He’s yelling at me telling me what I said on the phone when I never even spoke to him! Why do these people think they can talk to customers the way they want? What ever happen to being courteous and making sure the customer is happy after she spends 40$ Even if I didn’t add green beans he’d still have it wrong as the original order made was house special, the second order was minus the singapore (spicy) and third finally made correct! However, in order to get respect you have to give respect… yelling at me as if I’m some child fixes absolutely NOTHING! Now we have two irate...
Read moreI have been going to Bo Wah for over 20 years and have always enjoyed their food but about 10 months ago not only was my order wrong but the food was HORRIBLE. I thought that this must have been a fluke so I order again a week later. Same result. Sub par food. I gave them a few more chances because, after all, I was a loyal customer and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but to no avail. The food just had no flavor so I stopped patronizing them. Just the other day (after eight months) I thought I should try them one more time. Not only was the food the worst, part of the order was wrong and when I called them to inform then of the problem I was berated and insulted. I am a retired chef and have owned 2 restaurants. I also have hade many conversations with the owners (husband and wife) over the years about food and the restaurant business and have found them cordial and accommodating but now it seemed as if they were changed people. I don't know what happened but something is wrong and , what ever it is, it's bringing the business down. It used to been the best but now it's just spiraling down to the worst. I am not the only one who feels this way. I know many people who have the same experiences and opinion. I hate what has happened to this place but If they don't address the problem, what ever it is, I'm afraid ...
Read moreI have been going here for 20 years. The food was always good. They lost a loyal customer now because of their inconsideration and rudeness. I ordered food to pick up. Got home and my order was wrong, they gave me a quart of food instead of a combination dinner AND charged me for it. I called them and explained the situation to them and asked if they could just give me an egg roll. They said no, I have to bring the wrong order back and they would replace it with the right order. I went back out in the rain and returned the food and picked up the right order, meanwhile all my other food for my family is home getting cold. I asked them if they can just throw in an extra egg roll instead of refunding me the $2 difference in price. They accused me of asking for free food and said that is not right. I said that is not what I’m doing, I’ve been coming here for 20 years (they know me). They did this in front of other customers. I told them then give me my money back, she said after I help these other customers. I said forget about it, I will find a new restaurant to go to now, you lost my business, they said good, go do that. How can they treat customers like that? What happened to the customer is always right...
