I am beyond upset. I ordered flowers for my grandpas funeral, received an email conformation along with a charge for the flowers. When I walked into the funeral polar my flowers were never delivered. You could imagine how upsetting something like that is. I called the florist multiple times, no answer or machine to explain anything. Due to frustration I had someone go to the florist location to find a note on the door that they were out sick. I know people get sick but how do you not contact your customers to make them aware or have someone else take care of your orders. This wasn’t an anniversary or a birthday this was a wake and the last time to say goodbye to someone. With all the emotions your currently going through when someone close to you passes away the last thing I needed to deal with was something like this. Never received an apology or any explanation. I picked up flowers for my fiance's bridal shower here. I am by no means a flower connoisseur, When I spoke with John I knew maybe one or two flowers that I wanted involved in the bouquet and what I knew to avoid, John helped me construct the perfect bouquet to make sure my fiance's day was perfect. John was thorough, asked me what the occasion was for the flowers, helped me understand what different prices for each bouquet would get me, and offered some suggestions to add to the bouquet. I knew I was dealing with a professional and even more importantly someone who wanted to make sure I had the best flowers for my occasion. Based on my experience, this is the only florist I'll go to in Bay Shore for my flower needs in the future. Don't look anywhere else. If I could give this place a zero I would. This is the worst place we had ever ordered flowers from. We ordered some flowers to deliver to a friend in Bayshore, we clearly put on the notes to “hand deliver” nothing on the website that says they don’t do hand deliver, however the lady named Holly called us she said she was the owner, yelled at me with a nasty attitude, AND she said, “They probably don’t want to open the door because they don’t want to leave a tip.” What owner would talk to customers like that. SMH. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Worst customer service, I don’t know how they stay in business with that kind of attitude. She clearly does not know how to handle customers.
