Hannaford — Local services in Town of Lloyd

As always, sometimes the prices get expensive than they would at other markets and stores.

But the quality is high usually anyway from Hannaford, and thats what you can expect from them.

If you want high quality food, different array of choices for snacks, dinners, and desserts, this might be the store for you.

Just make sure you have enough money!

I've come here, picked out displayed sushi in boxes and it was always delicious (and I'm a fanatic about sushi).

You'll also find many different things you don't get to see or haven't heard of in other grocery stores here.

The traffic here is pretty heavy too at times of the day, if not all throughout the daytime!

There's a couple of speed bumps when you drive into the parking lot.

It gets crowded and your left either getting the last of things or not getting the last of certain things. Sometimes its hard to get out to the door, with your cart, because register aisles are pretty packed and staff is low.

Don't pack your cart too much here, you'll probably get a headache and become hungry after you are in your car again...

Overall, food is great, prices can vary but still pretty high because of quality, and the crowds are terrible.

Is it worth it? Its one of those specialty stores, at least, but with high price tags but better quality and crowds.

1 - you had multiple employees and a manager walking all over the place with face shields instead of a face mask. They did not maintain social distancing requirements despite not wearing a air filtering mask and all of them seemed to be wandering the store spreading germs under the guise of perusing the store or needing to whisper something to another employee to make jokes. Just use the security system and reduce needless exposure please. you had many other employees however that wore their masks appropriately and kept their movement to essential movement only.

2 - one of these employees wearing a non filtering face shield walked in front of where I was shopping (in the nuts section) stopped working to answer the phone and talk loudly while blocking the food section I was trying to access safely.

Please address these serious concerns. Face shields do not filter air and do not protect me from your employees.

This happened 7/16/2020 between about 10:15 -11:15AM. I did not feel safe today because of your management not because of the customers this time.

Love the new design of the new store. It is so easy to navigate. I bought some ground beef there today and it was so fresh! The lady, Hope, at the customer service desk was so helpful when I purchasing a gift card today. I'll be back soon! A few years back, I was shopping there right before Christmas and I left my purse in the cart in the parking lot. I don't know what I was thinking!! I ran back about 15 minutes later hoping my purse might be there. I went to the service desk, and it was there! The man that gets the carts returned it to the desk. I just got paid and I had over $500 in cash in the purse. Every dollar was there! His kindness has never been forgotten. He still works there, and every time I see him at the store I think back to that day. He is a great person and I'm thankful that Hannaford has good people like him working there. Great store and great people! Thank you! One thing-I do wish that the self checkouts was able to use Hannaford rewards, coupons and buy gift cards. Maybe an update for one...
