Update: I enjoyed my 2nd meal this evening (2/26) and ate in their restaurant. I ordered a traditional meal with lamb and rice, and wow! It was so full of flavor -savory and a slight sweetness from the golden raisins and carrots. The lamb was remarkably tender. I also had a pot of green tea, and it was beautifully presented. I felt very happy during and after the meal! I stopped by tonight to get takeout, as I was working late, and it was my first visit. I wished I had more time to stay because the space inside was cozy and full of people even near closing time. You order at the front counter and they bring your food to you. I ordered lamb kebabs and squash sambusas (which is like a samosa but larger and flatter). The lamb kebob plate came with rice, veggies, one piece of pineapple (!), and a beet salad (which I loved). There was also a flavorful green sauce for the meat. Everything tasted so good with so much flavor. The kabobs were remarkably tender although I’ll probably order them to be medium rather than medium rare next time. The owners are so welcoming and it’s obvious they’re wanting their place to be the same, and it is. I look forward to returning and sitting in their restaurant. Frankly, I love supporting these small businesses, which are the backbone of local economies. Glad...

Greetings, I received your response regarding my recent review, and I feel compelled to address it with clarity and professionalism.
I have been working in this field for several years, and throughout my experience, I have always encountered respectful and courteous interactions from restaurants and customers alike. What I experienced at your establishment, unfortunately, was the first time I was met with such a cold, dismissive, and disrespectful attitude.
To receive a message that not only assumes fault on my part, but does so without offering me the courtesy of explanation, is both unfair and deeply disappointing. It reflects an attitude that appears to overlook the value and dignity of individuals who work hard every day — in all conditions — to support your service and ensure customer satisfaction.
I would respectfully remind you that every person who enters your restaurant — whether a guest, delivery driver, or employee — is deserving of the same respect and consideration. Dignity is not reserved for titles or roles.
In the future, I sincerely hope that your approach will lean more toward dialogue, mutual understanding, and human decency, rather than quick judgment or threats of reporting.
Wishing you growth — not only in business, but...

I recently visited Alon's Halal Grill for my first taste of Uzbek cuisine, and it was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the experience was a true delight. The owners were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we enjoyed every bite, which added such a personal touch to our meal.
The flavors were rich, authentic, and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. The chicken kebabs were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the pilov had the ideal balance of spices—comforting and flavorful. We also tried manti, lagman soup, sambusa, and cheburek, each dish more delicious than the last. You can tell that every dish is crafted with incredible care and a passion for Uzbek cuisine. I enjoyed the food so much that I forgot to take a picture of my food for this review!
We enjoyed traditional Uzbek tea alongside our meal, which paired wonderfully with each dish and added to the authentic experience. For dessert, we tried their chocolate cake and baklava, both of which were the perfect sweet finish.
If you're curious about trying Uzbek food, I can’t recommend Alon’s Halal Grill highly enough. The food is outstanding, and the owners' warm hospitality makes you feel like family. A true gem that I can’t wait to...
