Right from the very first phone call, Mary was very professional understanding and knowledgeable of what I was asking of her. Mary was very detailed oriented, even from the photos I sent her. She explained the different pics and how they captured each dog and helped me pic the perfect photos for her to use. When she sent me a mock pic (not the painting ) I absolutely fell in love with it! Throughout the entire process she kept me in the loop and up to date on the deadline. On the day of pick up, I was anxious and a little worried, I can’t lie about that. When I walked into her studio and she revealed the painting, my mouth dropped. It was like I was looking at the photo she sent me !!!!! Absolutely nailed it100% !!!!!! Total home run! Mary recently painted a portrait of Bailey, our 10-year-old lab mix. Before she started, she asked questions that helped us focus on Bailey in a way that we didn’t often take time to do. She listened as we described our sweet, shy and loving dog . . . how we loved her beautiful eyes and the way she often crossed her front paws as she laid on the couch.

When we saw the portrait, it was 100% Bailey - her eyes, her look, and most of all, her personality. Mary is a gifted artist and I am so happy that she painted Bailey! I am especially glad because just about 2 weeks after we picked up the portrait, we lost Bailey unexpectedly to a blood clotting disorder. I can’t tell you how much this portrait...

I'm so pleased with Mary's work! I reached out to her just before Christmas of '23 to create two ornaments featuring two of our beloved pets. She was a dream to work with: she had me upload several pictures of both pets so she could "absorb" their personalities, and then we both agreed to let her magic do its work.

She extracted the essence of our pup and cat and got the ornaments to us before the holiday, even though it was a bit of a rush order! The bonus was the sweet wrapping job on both.

I look forward to utilizing her artistic skills, which exude love and compassion for animals, again in the very near future!
