Buffoons — Restaurant in Town of Manlius

I've got friends in low places where the whiskey flows and the beer chases my blues away. And it will be okay. And come as you are. I love this bar. This is the closest, cheap bar to an assisted living across the street in the shores of Limestone Creek. So, I was by far the youngest person in the joint who wasn't bartending. I got sassed by a woman for saying the word "rain". She even accused me of wanting a White Christmas. I could think of only one good response. I bought the bar a round. It cost me five bucks. I bought the bartender, a woman wearing head to toe Pink from Victoria Secrets, a shot. She mixed herself up a Jaeger Bomb. She mixed up enough to share. I didn't indulge.

What more do you really want in a bar? I like a good conversation. Man at the bar went over the tragedy of the fifteen seniors in the Hollywood Florida rest home after the hurricane. Staff couldn't move them from the hot rest home with no power to the hospital across the street with no electricity. The staff couldn't get authorization to make the move, according to my bar room correspondent. The staff did everything they could to save the seniors from heat exhaustion, including ice baths. That guy could tell a story.

What more do you want in a bar. You got a juke box, a big screen television, a pool table, a kitchen and a cooler full of beer. So what if the interior is dark and the carpet worn out? People without any pretension enjoy this place like it was the living room. The ladies stand in the kitchen and chat. The hole in the wall is a hideaway...

Old school bar, the interior is nice but the real beauty could stand to be unlocked. It is cash only, no running tabs. Bartenders are nice, however, the clientele tends to be a bit closed minded and not accepting of anyone outside of their opinion of people worthy to be in their presence. You can fill in the blanks, however, if you are a person of color, please visit with caution. I was extremely disappointed . Maybe less in the establishment than in it's clientele. However, how far apart are the mindsets of patrons...

This is a dive bar, a bar for bar goers. Yes, it needs a bit of cleaning here and there but the drink prices are good. The bartender is helpful. The patrons are friendly. I took away one star because the place could use a good dusting and a deep clean. That said, I'll...
