Paul Karaz Shoes — Local services in Town of Manlius

I have been suffering from miserable foot issues for some time and was having a good bit of trouble finding shoes that alleviated my pain. A relative had highly recommended a lesser known and quite expensive brand, but no stores in my area carried them. I was driving from Indiana back to my home in Maine and I looked online to see if I could find any stores that carried them along my path. I called from somewhere in Ohio to Paul Karaz Shoes and explained my situation. Shelby encouraged me to stop by when I got to that area. I did so and I'm so glad I did. Paige patiently listened to my tale of woe, examined my feet and the shoes I was wearing and made great recommendations. I was not even able to buy anything there, because they didn't have what I needed in stock, but I got better advice than I've gotten anywhere else and am currently wearing shoes that have given me more relief than anything else I've tried to date. Extraordinary attention to service and ambiance

Due to the pandemic, it has been quite awhile since I visited the Paul Karaz store in Fayetteville. And with so many businesses forced to limp along with ever-changing staff, I wondered if I’d recognize anyone, and if their fabulous service and product selection might have suffered.

Well, I’m thrilled to say that I was greeted by Stacey with the familiarity and warmth of an old friend. It was such a fun and relaxing experience to try on some potential new togs, and Stacey never lost her patience or enthusiasm as we tried on pair after pair. In fact, she brought a few suggestions that we hadn’t seen, and her attention to our personal style was/is such that her picks were more like me than what I had chosen for myself! So, if you miss the days of personal, gracious service in a lovely setting, I hope you’ll take a little time for yourself and go enjoy a visit...

I seldom do reviews of any kind because what works for one person may not for another. I’m breaking that rule after spending several hours at Paul Karaz Shoes! I didn’t know places like that existed anymore. It was like going to your best friend’s house (who has a HUGE walk-in shoe closet) and being told try on anything you like..as many as you like. Valerie & Paul were wonderful. They listened to what I wanted/needed, and recommended, but never pushed. The selection is impeccable-I’m afraid I’m spoiled for life! If you haven’t been there, and are frustrated trying to find comfort + style, make the trip....
