Yesterday I went to one of those big do-it-yourself stores because I needed a coupling so I could construct a make-shift shower in my cellar. You'd have thought I was asking to re-invent something. The guy couldn't help me after looking at fittings for close to 15 minutes. Today, I drove to Manlius because I remembered that this place has hard to find items. I walked in the door, was greeted by a gentleman who asked if I needed help and he then proceeded toward the back of the store. It depends on the day that you go. Monday through Saturday, you will be greeted by an attentive and helpful staff. On Sunday, you may hear, “I have to go poop!“, from the unsupervised, young, male employees who inhabit the store. This Sunday, Father’s Day, I treated myself to a couple of Ego tools, and after struggling somewhat to get them to the counter while two employees at the checkout (yes, the unsupervised, young, male employees) watched, I was offered absolutely no assistance to get them to my car. This rating is not based on the store itself it's meant for the website. The store were great called to let me know it was not in stock and refunded my order. The website and the ordering process needs some improvement. And let get rid of this read in 15 minutes lie your spewing. More like always ready in a few hours. And get a better handle on your inventory as far as in stock or not. Just reordered the same thing on home depot website 2 minuts later after the refund. And it was ready...
