Everytime I go to the one in Ballston Spa the items I want to buy are often past their expiration date and they have no additional product of that kind in the back to put out so I have to leave without. Also, when taking the time to tell the manager that things are expired they just say "ohhh, ok." And then walk away leaving the product there and when I check before I cash out quite some time later the expired items are still left out for someone to buy. Produce is often old and rotted. Aldi's chicken in general (Kirkwood brand) taste like you are chewing rubber or like it's all muscle. And I had to make 3 separate trips their before because a whole ham I bought had expired over a month prior and didn't get one that wasn't expired until my 3rd trip back there. Now I've learn my lesson and spend extra time verifying expiration dates. There are always long lines at the registers and many of times items have rang up at the wrong price when they are clearly marked on the shelf that they have been reduced in price. If it we're not for the need of certain items they carry I most likely wouldn't keep wasting my...

They also are always helpful. Downside that I took away a star for - because this store is small, they don't have the variety of the larger Aldis, and tend to run out of things. Don't go on a Friday night expecting that you'll be able to get a beautiful box of strawberries. That said, part of the Aldi shopping experience is knowing that they may not have that specific ingredient you need and being okay with it because everything is SO cheap. Don't forget your quarter for the...
Read moreAldi's is a way to save more money than you could imagine. They save money in many ways and pass the savings down to us customers. Their fruit and produce are great. You just need to check it out before you run and grab but that goes for anywhere really. I find I like many of their products but some not so much. No different than trying a store brand product and deciding you would rather the name brand. $50 goes a long way in Aldi's. I love their snacks, produce, veggies, fancy cheeses, canned goods and cereal. This is amazing for large families and anyone looking for quality while still staying...
