It was a lovely park very clean quiet seemed pretty safe ..... well I own a minivan parked it in the parking lot right in front of the playground and decided to bring my boys for a day of fun which we were having I left my book bag under the dash with a lunch bag next to it .We went for a short hike around the loop and were having a blast but upon our return we discovered our window had been smashed and our belongings gone it was the middle of the day .Some other vehicles aswell they were also missing purses etc. There are cameras but only facing the playground and the gazebo and looking directly out from it and of course no one saw anything. What a hassle to replace a window and my belongings the feeling was horrible it ruined our day and my boys were upset aswell.Due to all the foot traffic it may be a good idea to face a camera toward the parking lot aswell.I know I won’t get my peace and belongings back but maybe it will help another family .Beautiful park but I will not be back it’s too bad to big of a...

We reserved the pavilion for a youth event and had to call the village police to help remove a homeless person who was using picnic tables to hold his belongings. There were cigarette butts scattered all over the floor of the pavilion and random wet marks that I think were urine, but of course I can't be sure.

The police were very responsive and helpful and even mentioned they pre-warned the man. However, it makes me a little uncomfortable to allow children to freely play at the park while there's a population of transients nearby in the woods.

The pavilion could hold a much larger group of people but there are only 7 picnic tables and most are in bad shape with one broken so badly that people kept injuring their knees on it.

Restroom was clean, pavilion is free to reserve for...

Beautiful little park. UNFORTUNATELY THE WASPS THINK SO TOO! When we pulled in our littles eyes lit up. However we were swarmed anytime they tried to play in any of the cute buildings. The kids ended up being to scared to play in most of the playground. Which was disappointing. We switching gears and played in the stream instead. The stream was shallow (the the section we went to) and perfect for a hot summer day. I would recommend water shoes. They also offer a dog park and a hiking trail neither of which I can speak to. But most of the people who came went to those places so I assume they are enjoyable.

We will try again once it’s cooler and hopefully the wasps...

This is such a great place for children and adults of all ages. Sometimes when I come here, the park is super busy, but my boyfriend and I happened to stop here this afternoon, and it was so quiet and still. We had a few train sorts earlier in the day, so probably this was one of the reasons for it being on the quieter side. We took a short walk on the walking trail. He brought his pole, too to get a couple casts in on the walk...it was great. Super peaceful and serene today. Hard to believe we are in town! The restrooms @ the pavilion are still closed/locked up. Probably just a seasonal thing, I'm not sure bc the park is definitely open until dusk! No bites today btw...

It's a quiet park. A place to dip on the creek, walk the path, enjoy a mowed field area, and also has a dog park too. The kiddos LOVE the large castle/village buildings. Very cool place for the kids to run. A couple downsides, very little (none in the playground) shade while your kiddos play, and when people don't follow leash laws 😞. I'm a huge dog lover, however, not a fan of random dogs off leash in public areas.

First time going to the playground, and it was great! We brought buckets/ shovels for the sandbox. Tots section was perfect for my 18mo old, and big kids liked the tunnels and twisty slide. We had a picnic lunch at the "beach" at the end of the trail, and the kids "swam" in the stream. We were there for 4 hours, and had the whole place to ourselves! While there, we saw a hummingbird, butterflies, and even a mink!
