Legend Sushi Bistro — Restaurant in Town of Milton

My son enjoyed the hibachi experience last time around so thought I take him again. I did some research between yelp and Google to find some Hibachi places around saratoga County and eliminared the hibachi restaurants that I had been to before, I ended up narrowing it down to 2 restaurants to go to this weekend.

We decided to go with Legends as I have always had a positive experience dining in restaurants located in Ballston Spa.

We went in, got seated, and I ask the host.....where is the hibachi grill...I just see a table....she said they offer hibachi food but not on the grill. I was disappointed but learnt something new, hibachi doesn't just mean it needs to be Cooked in front of you. Went outside, thought about it and went back in to go try their lunch specials. The food was good but I cut a star for not being able to give my son his hibachi experience.

We ordered general Tso chicken, curry chicken and sushi and sashimi combo. Each lunch box came with a soup or a salad, rice, California roll and spring roll (can be replaced with goyza, shumai or edemame). I liked my curry chicken. My son his general tsos and my brother his sushi.

Overall the service, food was good. The restaurant is in a strange location.....a border between commercial space and residential space.....and has ample parking.

An amazing sushi bar with an amazing tone and mood! I just ate at the new establishment and as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable and free, like all the stress in life left. When you walk in you get a sleep that welcomes you and says get ready for an amazing night and amazing food. It’s small but it has a huge solution. I love sushi and I’m not near any restaurants until now. I felt amazing and happy also excited, the service was amazing they waitress that served me my food was kind and had an amazing smile. The appetizers were outstanding I loved the salad with the sweet yellow sauce🤤. It took about 25-35 minutes for our food to come out I was surprised because of how fast it was compared to other restaurants who take an hour. I ordered the titanic and my goodness it was fantastic. The rolls were amazing. They’re warm and inviting, I was amazed at how good they were! After the main coarse I had fried ice cream to finish my experience. When I left I had to grab a menu because there is no way I’m not gonna eat there again! I highly recommended you go here because it will be...

I ordered from here 2x via DoorDash, so I can't say anything about what it was like inside. Overall, I liked the food and most likely will order again.

Eel avocado rolls - Delicious

Thai iced tea - It was delivered inside of a paper bag. Didn't spill or anything, but at first, I wasn't sure if it actually came in the order. Was delicious, so no complaints there.

White rice/teriyaki sauce on the side - Can't really go wrong there, though a dollar for a little bit of sauce that wasn't even enough for the rice seems a bit overpriced. Otherwise, it was tasty.

Harumaki/spring rolls - Overpriced considering that there were only 2 small rolls. Other restaurants will give you 4 for the same price. They arrived soggy and tasted odd. I'm not sure if it was because I ordered the food later in the day or not, but they weren't very good.

Pad thai - I guess it was my mistake to order pad thai from a sushi place. It was some of the worst pad thai I've had. Couldn't...
