Save More Marketplace — Local services in Town of Minoqua

This is generally a good place to shop but today was a little off. There's a female checker there who was either on drugs or challenged, either way she should absolutely not have any contact with customers of any sort. I went to get some heavy whipping cream, that was it. When I got in line for checkout she was having difficulties checking out the man in front of me as she didn't know how to use the credit card machine. She messed around with it for several minutes and the entire time gave the customer in front of me severe eye rolls. She didn't see the separator bar and tried scanning my order into his order as well. Once his order was complete she completely reached over my order and started scanning the people's order behind me. Once we redirected her attention and she realized that I was still there and my product was still on the belt she scanned it for double what the actual product price was and because of this she requested a price check. As one of the associates was going to check on the price, and with me still standing directly in front of her waiting for the price check to come back she started scanning the order of the people behind me essentially pushing me back in line. At this point I was so irritated with her ignorance and inattentiveness I turned around and left the store. This is definitely not a reflection of how this story usually works but this lady should in no way be working...

Gotta Love Save More! For several reasons you can't help but love this grocery store. It is an interesting layout but they do a fine job with their iconic store. From entering the store from a fine parking lot, they do a wonderful job w/the carts. Other stores could learn a thing or two. It's nice how they feature seasonal items out front and as you enter the produce department the floral department is a knock out. It's great how you go from that area to an excellent deli & the selection there is fantastic, not to mention the bakery items. What a terrific meat department & the selection in frozen is great. Dairy is good but must be kinda a challenge to turn items, very good selection there too. The place Always feels like home & very nice that you can get everything you need there & more. August 17,2015 4pm: I was very disappointed that after spending over 350 dollars in groceries I had to help the cashier bag my groceries. There was a bagger stationed at the checkout initially but then he just looks at me and leaves. Normally I don't mind and I'm not a complainer but today my disability was preventing me from helping. I really became annoyed when Sue (manager???) came over to take cash from the checker and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for help bagging. Obviously she was too busy chewing the checker out for some minor infraction to acknowledge my request. The service desk offered no help other than muttering about back to school lack of help.

I won't be bagging my groceries anymore. I'll be heading over to Trigs from now on or into Rhinelander. Ed...
