I have consistently found enjoyment and an undying love for the sushi rolls that come from Kobe. These two are the finest sushi roll makers i have ever had the pleasure of encountering in our families life. Always pleasant. Kind. Sweet. I have never once had a negative experience there or with take out ever and I am extremely sad to not be able to enjoy sushi without coming back from 10 hours away to have some sushi that's incomparable with an atmosphere and experience that is the epitome of an Asian/oriental dining experience. My wife and I were unimpressed. I don't think some of these 5 star reviewers have had sushi before, honestly! We have been to numerous sushi restaurants, some internationally, and this was by no measure great sushi. I would consider this average sushi.
The sushi that we had was mostly flavorless. The quantity of food was rather neglectful, also. We have paid 30% less, and received nearly twice as much food at another sushi restaurant in Wausau (1 hour south of Minocqua.) Plus, much better flavor!

My husband and I had a little date and we were looking for places to eat at in the area. Kobe sushi didn't pop up on Google but we noticed it while we were driving past. We are BIG sushi lovers and we make it a thing to try different sushi places.
Let me tell you, I immediately loved the place as soon as I walked in and I could tell right from the start that the food was going to be amazing. If you love shusi I highly recommend stopping here. You will not be disappointed, once you taste the food it will have you doing a happy dance in your seat.
