When I walked into the Bottled Bean for the first time in December, I was immediately greeted by cheerful baristas and bartenders. There was a buzz of energy in the air that could have just been from all of the espresso, or from the splendor of the holidays. I sat at the bar and was given a menu by the bartender. Upon looking at the cleverly named drinks, I couldn’t decide what I wanted. I asked the barista, that I came to find out was one of the owners, what syrups they had that I could add to a latte. I ended up with a delicious caramel and hazelnut oat milk latte. The sweetness of the homemade syrups balanced out the espresso and enhanced the nutty notes of the oat milk. It was heaven in a cup.
The Bottled Bean is not only an impeccable name for a hybrid coffee shop and bar, but it does what we should all be doing when it comes to the craft of drinks: making each drink an experience. If you are looking for a place to study, catch up with old friends, or just treat yourself to some time out of the house, the Bottled Bean should be the first...

Games for kids and adults are available, too! A round of candy land while sipping a morning coffee is one of our favorite mommy-kid coffee date activities. And my kids love their fun and yummy bakery items! A destination in the...
Read moreHands down the best espresso martini and Irish coffee I've ever had. My fiance and I found this place on a whim and we sat there for about 2 hours. We got a beer flight, a bloody Mary, an espresso martini, an Irish coffee, and the sweet potato bourbon latte. Everything was delicious and atmosphere was great. We enjoyed talking to the owners mom and just looking out at the lake. Tried to convince them to open a franchise in Winchester, Virginia so that we would have one back home it...
