Slumberland Furniture — Local services in Town of Minoqua

Well, we purchased approximately 14,000 in furniture and bed room sets. Have more to purchase as well. We worked with Aaron, I understand he is no longer there, he was very pleasant, and new his products. Unfortunately there where some end tables, and coffee table with a cabinet that was noted damaged when unpackaged from the box, called it in and they ordered new ones. It did take quite sometime to receive them, but that is understanding with everything going on in this world now. He allowed us to keep the tables until the new ones came in. The new ones came in the employees at the desk where great to work with us. They called us and we exchanged the products, so everything went great right?.....wrong! Well like I said the employees in the store where wonderful, however the employee at the loading dock was terrible , wanted to refuse it, and said they should never allowed you to return it! Then said its wood, expect nicks, dents, scratches, and wood pulling apart from when manufactured and that's normal. Wow! who is he to say! Its a shame spent 14K and will be buying more, but disappointed in the loading dock employee. I understand people have bad days, but this was so wrong as the employees at the desk where good and understood. I hope management can address this as he should do his job and not question the customers and talk down to them. Was a very happy customer and...

We purchased living room furniture and a new mattress with a few extra goodies for the bedroom. The selection was certainly better than the other furniture stores in the area, the prices were very fair for the quality and service. We were informed right up-front that deliveries to the store were going to be delayed, but realistically, what isn't during the pandemic?? The store kept us informed as further delays occurred and let us know immediately when our furniture arrived. Because the order was split between several manufacturers it arrived at different times and we had to option of either picking the items up from the store or arranging to have them delivered. The goods that were delivered arrived very quickly and the men making the delivery did a superlative job of getting the items into the house and removing some of our replaced furniture. There was an extra charge for the delivery but the price for that was certainly fair for the service that was given. We're very pleased with our transactions at the store and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends of ours or to go back there FIRST when next we require...

Our experience with Mary at Slumberland was disappointing. She was short and uninformative, and when I asked for printouts she said, “Do you not have the internet?” She made us feel like a burden for asking basic questions about products and delivery times. The frustrating part was when I asked Mary a question and she didn’t have the answer—yet another associate behind the counter was able to immediately look it up and give me detailed information, like why a mattress smells when it’s first taken out of the plastic. It showed the help was available, just not from the person assigned to us. Slumberland is great, I will definitely continue to shop there, Mary however is not great and I do not recommend her assisting customers...
