Today I purchased a bag of pita bread. When I tried to make dinner, I discovered that the product was moldy. Not just one spot but thoroughly moldy inside. I spoke with the store manager on the phone (after talking to 2 other people, waiting on hold 4 times and being disconnected) and he was unable to refund my money. I asked if he wanted to see the product but he said no. Customer NO service and seemingly no interest (from anyone) in checking the shelves to make sure there are no other spoiled products being sold. I have shopped at Trigs for 10 years and witnessed a steady decline for the past 3. I can't trust Trig's for fresh, quality product any longer. I am not spending my money driving to your store to return spoiled food and provide you with your paperwork simply because you are not able to issue a refund over the phone like other businesses can.

Triggs should be ashamed of themselves. $9.99 for cherries?!!They can afford a remodeling of the whole store, and then price gouge all their customers!

I've found things at Trig's that you can't find anywhere else. Best beer selection I've been able to find locally too

I’ve always enjoyed this store. I liked the “small town feel” of the store before they made a bunch of upgrades. The remodel is very nice and the store is always very nice but the prices are very high. I’m from the greater Chicago area, as a lot of your customer base is. I used to really appreciate seeing the high school kids working there. There were also some native students as well as some students with special needs/disabilities. Definitely important and I’m definitely in favor of providing jobs and opportunities for these young Americans. It seems like a lot of that has disappeared with the installation of the self checkouts. That’s sad. I think a lot of your customer base would be totally fine with paying a little bit more to support the diverse employee culture that you once had. The special needs employees always made my visit special. I would like to see more of that again instead of the self service machines. Now let’s talk about the meat department… I am not impressed with the selection of steaks. The pricing is extremely high, and wouldn’t be much of a problem if the quality of the steaks reflected that, but honestly any steaks on the shelves outside of the butcher showcase is dog food quality. Honestly, no joke. I went to the butcher showcase to buy an expensive steak but noticed that they weren’t even that good. Very expensive and there was way too much fat and stuff that would need to be trimmed off and by the time you are done doing that there isn’t much usable meat. I don’t mind spending a lot of money for a really good steak, but I couldn’t find a really good steak here. Ended up going to Walmart and getting two New York strips that were far superior to what I saw at trigs. That’s sad guys, you can do better. Give people what they want. The price wouldn’t be an issue if the...

Used to be a very good store. Lived here for 14 years and shopped there religiously. Happened to be in town for a morning on 12/30 and decided I'd surprise my wife with seafood for NYE. Bought 200 worth of shrimp and king crab legs (and was treated like a criminal by the virtually humorless "attendant lady" at self checkout who had to impress me with her authority over high ticket item review...).In any event, I kept a smile. Tonight, one day later I was excited to treat my wife. The shrimp for an appetizer on ice were overcooked and tasteless. Can always tell when a shrimp won't release from the tail that there's gonna be issues. They were flavorless and soft and obviously old. Thought we'd rally with the king crab legs. They were worse. I'm sure they were originally good at time of harvest in 2012...but these were just brutal. For the modest price of $35 PER CRAB LEG X5 you'd think somebody would be assuring something resembling qualify control. These were simply awful. You can tell it's going downhill. 20 or so people waiting patiently in line for their "Amazing Seafood Sale" and one elderly woman working her butt off with zero help. Used to be a good store, now just another greed-flation enterprise. Nice going Trigs... ya killed the golden goose. Won't step in your store again and tell everyone I know to...

I have been going here for over 30 years and I have never had an experience like today I wanted to cash in a winning lottery ticket as I was waiting for an employee to come out from the office, the cashier from lane 2 said to me I think the service counter is closed right now. I had asked if she knew when it was going to be opened she did not have an answer so I asked if there was a store manager available to ask when it would be open so I could cash my ticket so I could buy from the brat fry fundraiser outside when I realized I left all my cash at home the only money I had was this lottery ticket. So the cashier had said as soon as she was done with the current customer she would take care of me. My response was "thank you I appreciate that." She then came over to the service counter and proceeded to cash my 7$ winning ticket and I said thank you took the money and started to leave as I walked away from the counter she commented "all that for 7$ unbelievable" while I really like supporting this store over Walmart right across the street is it is a local store while more expensive I continue to shop here but as of this day I will Never purchase another product from here. If it is such a burden to take care of a customer. It's too much of a burden to my budget to spend a little extra of my money at this store because of...
