Montour Falls Historic District — Local services in Town of Montour

415 West South St eas my grandparents’ home. Would love to see a photo from front porch elevation. It was built in 1856 by an early merchant. In 1900 a second house was moved from another location and attached to the original house. My grandfather, Dr Cloyd Looker, (salt research pioneer) built the cabinets and library. I understand the family who bought the home from the estate tore out kitchen cabinets, painted the front porch black and replaced original rails on top of porch with raw wood. The home is Greek Revival, 14 rooms. My grandparents converted a side porch to a master bedroom in the 1950s.
