Rent-A-Center — Local services in Town of Moreau

This place is terrible!!!! If you wish to use a rent a center do yourself a favor and go to the Queensbury location. They are incredibly unprofessional and unorganised. They ruined our couch when delivering it.... They did replace it but when we tried to purchase another thing from them.... They didn't show up .....then when I called they said they would bring it but they didn't have time to assemble it which is why we wanted them to deliver it... But they didn't show up again. When I called again.... The "manager" Jason said that he misunderstood me again for the second time. He didnt offer to deliver it again..... Didn't have really anything to say for that matter. I believe they sold it to someone else and either couldn't or didn't want to get another one. There are other issues I have with them like calling to soliciciate a payment from you under the guise of it being for your convenience yet failing to tell you they charge you for it.... And when you question the total of the payment... They conviently never mention that.... I could go on and on.... Just stay away......

Ya know, youd think ESPECIALLY around the holidays that a company that their slogan plastered all over the store says how they aim to satisfy or that our (consumer) happiness is most important, well im a disabled burn victim with PTSD living on disability & my fiance just started a new job so they hold the first week. Well when we have kept in constant contact with the sales people & manager & for them to show up & try to take the bed & frame that are almost paid off but are 14 days past due.... “thats completely unacceptable” was the quote from the manager. This company obviously doesnt care about their customers as i had told them as soon as my disability check came in that i would catch up the bill. They didnt care because again “its completely unacceptable that you are over 14 days past due.” Well this is completely unacceptable to have to write such a review when just a few weeks ago i was praising this store in particular.... I’ve been a customer of this specific store since they were on Quaker rd in Queensbury. Basically a customer of over 20 years. My most recent purchase was a smart tv. We had issues with the tv and they promised over and over to have a Samsung repair guy come to look at the issues. That never happened. After I paid off the tv I was told to never return again. I’m beyond frustrated and had nothing but great experiences in the past. This store has the worst customer service in the area. They do not follow thru on promises they only take your money and give you the middle finger. I’ll never be using this store again and would suggest anyone visiting this store to beware. The manager Tony is extremely shady and not honest. My tv is still not working properly and I was promised it would be fixed before it...
