Bad sales rep. I came in on Nov 8th around noon. Sales rep was grouchy from the second I walked in (I guess because i disturbed his lunch?). I told the guy I was there to trade in my phone and upgrade. To be clear, I called AT&T 10 minutes prior to coming to the store, and I was told how much credit I would get in on my trade in (I provided them the IMEI for my device) and how much monthly the new phone would be. This guy gave me a quote for the 17 Pro “$34/mo for 36 month including the $300 trade-in credit”. Unless I’m missing something, he was telling me it’s a $1600 phone+tax?
I laughed because it wasn’t even remotely close to what the rep told me minutes early. I told him about my call with AT&T, he asked me to leave - I did, no problem.
So I drive 10 minutes later to Ossining, go to AT&T. Great rep, very helpful. He gives me $700 trade in credit and the phone costs me $10/mo. Currently writing this review from my new phone, which you could have gotten the sale for, if you took a second to care about your customers.
Shame on you dude, if you don’t want to work with people get...
Read moreI am an AT&T technical manager and I recently changed by wireless carrier for 4 phones from T-Mobile to AT&T and my TV from Verizon to AT&T at the Thornwood New York retail store. The manager Tatyana was great! Even though the store had a waiting line of four customers, Tatyana was able to keep everyone involved and still give excellent attention to the current customer that she was helping. My situation was complicated for many reasons and she not only was able to quickly navigate her way through it, she was extremely patient and friendly as she did it. In the process when there was a break in setting up my account, she also handled phone calls and questions with other customers that would have driven me insane, but she did it with patience and kindness. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and much easier than I had anticipated. I’m very glad I made the switch to AT&T and highly recommend the AT&T store in...
Read moreI went there for an upgrade on the IPhone and just wanted basic/general switched and wanted nothing else change or new features added to my plan. I was told that the “new and up” feature is a default that the store couldn’t override and it was the systems default. I had to wait for 1 billing cycle to call and cancel this feature if I didn’t want it. I already felt something was off because I’ve never encountered this situation before. I wanted to leave but we were already half way into the process of transferring to the new IPhone. I went home and called AT&T 800# and was told that the store had two options for standard or new and up feature. They could have selected one on another. I didn’t appreciate this sales tactic and not being upfront about this. It’s very disappointing since I’ve been to this store years ago and had a wonderful experience and this time was...
