A hidden gem!! Thornwood's very own Cheers! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Service 10, atmosphere 10, drinks 10, food 10 and the entire experience at Bar 141 is just a VIBE. It's a mixed crowd with nice energy. John, the owner, is so cool and engaging. He makes everyone feel like family. He suggested the Homemade Pappardelle, and it was absolutely amazing! Authentic homemade pasta! Everything I've had here has been delicious. My martinis 🍸 are always on point! Me and the wife go out every saint patrick's day for a corn beef on Rye they only had corn beef and cabbage on the menu bartender said they could put it ON RYE sat at our table and waited for service took a while when we asked for our sandwiches waitress said we can't change specials and seemed very aggravated so I said it's not a problem we can pay for our drinks and leave she went into the back and never came back to our table a while had past then I sandwiche arrived I asked if there was a 2nd the young man who brought the food said he would see left and never returned so got up and asked to cancel 2nd sandwiches that's when we were charged $28 for 1 corn beef on Rye Charged me for the dinner special for 1 sandwich which I did not complain I do not give bad reviews I always support restaurants and small businesses very disappointed but the corn beef was tasty the chef did a good job Bad experience...

OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS COSTUMERS... went there with 6 other people for my birthday. And at one point there was someone smoking a cigarette on the dance floor and I asked waitress about smoking in this place and she said that he was the owner. The reason I mentioned this was one of my friends had beaten cancer and part of the celebration was that too maybe was the biggest part, but anyway after the smoking and spending over $500 we packed up our stuff they waited outside while I ended paying for the bill and left and went home.
