Hawthorne's Finest Barbershop — Local services in Town of Mount Pleasant

From the moment I walked in, I was treated warmly and felt very welcome by the barbers. I could simply tell by the influx in customers, that "Hawthorne's Finest Barbershop" really carries out it's name. I got a simple cut: 1/2 on the sides and scissors on top. The entire time I was getting my haircut, the barbers kept a positive and entertaining small talk with the other customers and myself. The only reason I don't give this establishment 5 stars is because I personally feel like the decor of the store can be updated a bit. I know the decor is supposed to give an "old-fashioned" feel, but even that decor feels old and can use some new touches to enhance the store overall. Not the best place for long hair-

Have been coming here for years and can say that I haven’t been consistently satisfied with the quality of my cut. I have long hair and I will say that Alex cuts hair great, I almost never come out of the barbershop dissatisfied whenever he cuts my hair. However I’ve had a number of experiences with Diana where I have asked just to trim around the ear and take a little bit of volume off the top, and she cuts hair in places that I don’t want my hair cut (like the front, and buzzing the entire sides of my head). It’s a struggle because Alex seems to understand how I want my cut almost every time. Absolutely loved my experience here. I moved to Westchester last year and have tried multiple barber shops, leaving disappointed each time. I tried this place out yesterday, getting there at 5 and hoping they could squeeze me in. They were busy, but they were still able to accommodate me! Jacob was absolutely amazing. He took the time to get to know me, asked what I wanted, and listened closely. Best cut I've had in a while, I'll definitely be coming back here for all of my cuts.
