New Hartford Shopping Center — Local services in Town of New Hartford

I have great memories of New Hartford Shopping Center. Its a great place to shop, especially during the holidays. I have been going to the shopping center since the 1960s, and have seen great stores come and go. Most recently I noticed Herb Phillipsons was empty. The New Hartford Shopping Center is convenient and allows shoppers to park near the stores they wish to shop at. There are several restaurants, gift shops, banks and specialty shops . I specifically went to JoAnn Fabrics. I highly recommend JoAnn Fabrics as well. I suppose my only complaint would be the pot holes in the parking lot, otherwise get off your computer and shop at the New Hartford...

I shop a few of the stores, but the place is ran down and unkept. Needs an overhaul. It no wonder stores can't stay in this area. I predict one day all the stores will be gone and this place will be torn down. Nothing inviting about the place. Outside is very dingy. Maybe needs to be overhauled and have a bigger name store move in. I don't see that happening. And the parking lot lines look like an 8 year old designed them. Very crunched together . This place is just a glimmer of its long lost...

Many stores like the Dollar General store .Joann fabric store and many other stores. Have leaking roofs the ceiling tiles are rusty brown color you can feel water dropping on your head while you shop. This is a public hazard because ceiling tiles could fall and the mold. The leaking of the roof in many stores the state of NY codes needs to investigate and take action with the owner. More stores are going to close down. I like shopping at the New Hartford shopping center now it's a hazard to shoppers...
