Had a wonderful shopping experience once we finally got in. The first night to just look the owner was closing so my son (in crutches recovering from surgery) crutched it out even though her door was open. The Saturday we returned, the staff was excellent, it was extremely busy and the owner was excellent with a very shy 14 year old girl. They were very accommodating especially with all the excitement, we had two dresses on hold, a red $438 and a blue 4something as well. They were placed on a “favorites card” for when we return. Well after shopping we returned today with my husband to pay and the card showed $438 but suddenly the price jumped up $100 to $538. Questioned it but zero response, it’s late and my husband and I both had long day of work still having to go home and make dinner we walked out paying the extra hundred the total was $585.08. Beautiful dress but might not be $585.08 of a beautiful dress but the customer service was worth thousands and we did have a very pleasant experience despite the odd business practice. My daughter and I showed up with just one hour till close. Let me tell you that these ladies couldn't have been more kind to us. We started our dress shopping late in the prom season so they explained that most of the inventory had been picked over and that based on the time constraint it would be impossible to order anything in her size. They showed us where her size began, told us to pull anything that she liked, and not to be limited to just her size since they had the numbers for local seamstresses. Also she explained how each dress is registered so there are no duplicates and the school is already listed on thettag so you don't fall in love with it and are then disappointed. She tried on 4 dresses in total and absolutely fell in love with with the last one which we tried on for fun and was completely out of my budget. These ladies were so kind, we we're able to put a deposit down and pick it up at a later date. Why wedding dress shopping and I tried a dress on that isn't your normal wedding dress, the lady came over and pulled it off of me and said your to big for anything we have her and there probably isn't anything in my price range,don't then told me don't you think you should have those covered for your wedding (taking about my tattoos)... when I went to complain about the rude worker came to find out that the rude worker was the owner and I told her you can't judge someone by the outside, yes I have tattoos and yes I'm a size 14 but that's what alterations are for and ordering the right size. I proceed to tell her in regards to my budget I was shopping for my dress and 3 bridesmaid dresses so I was ready to spend at least 5000.
