My whole family trains here. Not only have my three kids gained self confidence, their grades went up, they are more social, and they learn valuable life lessons on a daily basis. Sensei Montes and Joshu Burgos are amazing instructors who genuinely care about their students and love what they do. They are there not only to teach their students, but support them in all aspects of their lives. They talk to them about issues children face growing up and how to handle a problem should it arise. I could never put into words how this has changed our lives for the better. You can't put a price tag on that. Since joining my husband and I have lost a ton of weight and feel better about ourselves. It's a wonderful environment. Very welcoming. Everyone there is like a big family. My daughter has been a student at Tiger Schulmann’s New Windsor for two years, and I am grateful to say that her/ our experience there has been the best of any and all of the sports/ activities she has engaged in to date. Sensei Montes is the true definition of a Sensei. He not only teaches his students the martial arts they are there to learn, but builds life lessons and meaningful discussions (e.g. how to handle a bully) in to class. He is always there for the students or parents to talk to, which means a lot. I signed my grandchildren up for MMA in 2021 in hopes that they would find something they enjoy to do. WELL here we are 2023 & they LOVE it!!! They were extremely introverted, shy and unless you were family they were hesitant with others. I enjoy watching them with this new found confidence that they can do anything they set their minds to. The instructors are great and very hands on, so not only are they learning to follow instructions. It gives them the discipline needed to be successful.

I highly recommend Tiger Schulmann for all ages. It's amazing to see kids that are willing to put the iPad away to practice what they have been taught or learning.
