So my daughter and I went there on Tuesday afternoon because my daughter had broke a chain trying on a dress the day before. She wanted to get a new one because she didn’t want to lose her charm from the other one . I have not been to Newburgh Mall in a very long time We went to piercing Bogota, and there was a woman that was not very friendly at all. It seemed like we were bothering her when we told her we were looking for a chain. She never smiled once she never said thank you for coming there. She never tried to be polite or try to talk to my daughter to see what she wanted … anyway, we found a chain and the woman did not even say thank you for purchasing a $95 thin little gold chain. I had said to her twice if she was having a bad day and I was trying to give her the ability to say yeah I’m sorry it’s been a long day or say something to justify her very cold attitude. But she didn’t even care and then when I asked her for her first name, she actually got upset. Her name was Maria, but she did not want to give me her first name probably because she knew I was looking to make a complaint. Then she said well I don’t understand what I did wrong. let me start by saying between me and my bf we have spent hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars at this banter. exchanged a necklace that i had broke back in November for a different necklace. the second necklace broke as well (i have warranty on all my jewelry) so i went back in to try and get a different item bc i dont want to keep buying jewelry that’s going to break. “manger” told me that exchanging for a different item isn’t allowed and has never been allowed, even though ive done this more times than i can even remember. they also didn’t even have the same item in the store and she told me i could go get it from a different banter. which is just crazy to me bc whats the point of getting a warranty. continued to tell me she wouldn’t even “know how to do it in the computer” which is even crazier being a manger i would think u would know how to work the computer lol. anyways went to the middletown banter and they did it with no issues. terrible management....
