Lunch for 3 after a little morning gambling.
As for the atmosphere you’re in a Casino next to a bar if you are looking for a quiet place to eat, this is not that. But otherwise it’s a nice place to grab a bite between playing some games.
Service staff was pleasant and food came out promptly.
As for food maybe the kitchen was having an off day.
My steak frites : steak had a strong mineral flavor (kinda like liver) and caramelized onions tasted very sweet kinda like orange juice. It had 3 cuts of flank/hanger all cooked to 3 progressively drier levels of well done when I asked for medium. (1 thin section was very tough to eat) The fries were excellent both in cook and flavor. The garlic aioli was tasty and well made.
My wife’s pulled pork plate w/mac and cheese: The mac & cheese was cheesy/creamy and tasty. The pickle was the kind we like, sorta deli style garlic sour. The sauce for the pork was tasty. The pork itself while made well but cold through out most of it. Like they started to warm it up from a refrigerated state but didn’t finish before serving. And the Texas toast was turned into a complete mush from the pork on top of it. Could have been plated a bit smarter because she really could not enjoy the texture the toast usually brings to a dish like this.
Mother in laws pulled pork sandwich w/fries: Again the fries were excellent and the sauce for these was also good. And again the pulled pork arrived barely warm on the edges and middle cold. Coleslaw was not tried, it looked like the creamy kind.
After the meal was over my wife did let the server know she should recommend to the kitchen check the temp on the pulled pork before they release the next portion.
Overall we enjoyed our experience and we will return. Though, I Do not think I will try the steak again. Maybe a meatball sandwich next time and will definitely get the...
Read moreOur first time experience at The Kitchen was wonderful. The server was very sweet and attentive. There was a slight issue with one of the drinks but first the server then Chef Niko himself came out to apologize and fix the issue. He did not have to but we are glad he did because we were able to thank him personally for the amazing meal. Down to earth guy who takes pride in what he’s serving his customer. It was our first time at the restaurant and the casino. We will...

The salad was good, but not sure if chicken was pressed or an actual cutlet. Will definitely be back. Btw.. staff waa great and friendly and attentive. The tip is automatically added to bill, which I did not mind. They did make sure I knew...
